The crew was very rude, I was told I had to store my purse, the person next to me wouldn't store the carry on baggage, I needed to take scheduled medicine in flight, I couldn't as my purse was stowed. I was delayed for over and hour and a half after arriving. I had to stop and eat in the airport. With chronic health issues addressed this way I will probably not use United again.

Seat was uncomfortable due to insufficient foot space. All (about 6) overhead bins in the rear of the aircraft were full because crew stored “essential equipment” in them. Crew was not professional. After takeoff they never came around to see if anyone needed anything and not even a glass of water was offered for the entire flight. They didn’t even ensure that everyone wore seatbelts on landing - woman next to me was stretched out hugging her companion while landing wilth unbuckled seatbelt. Entertainment screen did not wirk properly.

On the MSP to ATL leg the gate crew made a huge deal about checking rolling bags. They even stopped us at check-in and nearly begged us to check our bags pointing to the backed up jetway. But we had a lot of unpacking to do before checking our bags so we politely declined three times. On getting to our seats there were at least 8 open slots for bags near us. I heard a crew member call forward to say "tell them no more rollaboards" so they forced everyone left to check. On departure they slammed shut several very large empty overheads. WTF

I flew economy. We left the gate on time, the seat was comfortable, entertainment was varied, flight attendants that I came in contact with were professional and pleasant, food was hot and very good, pilots got me where I wanted to go, and that little container of ice cream - oh I love it! The plane was not completely full, which made the seating more comfortable than it would have been if the plane was full.

I was ushered into what became a very slow line to board. The employee at the end of my line had to deal with a few problems so I ended up boarding close to the end, behind those with higher group boarding numbers than I. Having a single line up to the two boarding employees, would avoid that, albeit make a longer line to begin with.

Crew was polite

I guess San Francisco ATC (Air Traffic Control) decided the plane couldn’t leave San Fran until way past our take off time. Then it takes two plus hours to get the plane here unload and refuel and rest. So I missed my connecting flight to Redding. Which meant I had to fly to Sacramento. Then I had a pleasant 3 hour drive on I-5 (can you sense my sarcasm?!) didn’t reach my destination until 5 in the FREAKING morning. Around 8 HOURS LATE TO MY DESTINATION

The breezy, confident preflight announcements of the crew, including (from the Captain) "We are flying into Kelowna today, where the weather is always awesome even though it is a bit overcast and 5 degrees C..." and from the flight attendant on landing, "We have arrived in Kelowna. If you live here--Lucky You! You are almost home! And if you don't live here, welcome to the Okanagan! We hope you enjoy your stay." I was only disappointed that the sentence including 'lucky you' was not included in the French translation. C'est d'hommage...

Delays Boarding: boarding from both doors: back door and front door, but no direction from the crew to anyone. Ended up with passengers trying to get in the front from the back and passengers trying to get to the back from the front. This created another extra 15 minutes delay when everyone were stuck in the middle...The rest of the passengers waited outside in Canadian winter cold. On a flight already late.

the westjet app is great. however the flight home did not have it..

on our westjet to Puerto Vallarta the air conditioning vent above my brother's seat dripped all over him. on the trip back the screen on the back of the seat in front of my other brother didn't work so we had to share. not terrible, but a little annoying considering the amount we pay for tickets.
