Cons: "In LA terminal, instead of the gate number the airport labeled my flight as “TBIT.” Not being local, I had no way of knowing it meant Tom Bradley International Terminal. I stayed near another gait that had international flights, and it turned out the gate was clear on the other side of the complex, which is obscured by construction. If I hadn’t asked one of the workers there I would have missed my flight."

From Hawaii JAL manager upon check in concern for my son not feeling well to the attendant realizing we spoke no Japanese to apologize and begin conversing in English, every one was pleasant and professional in desire to please us and make our trip so comfortable."

Pros: "There are just some wonderful travel things that happen perfectly, automatically, and with follow-up from the provider. The Japan Airlines flight from Tokyo Narita to Busan, Korea was one of those pleasant experiences. But then again, all of my Japan Airlines flights have been that way. I go out of my way to seek their flights!"

Pros: "Everything from check-in to boarding was easy, clearly outlined, and succinctly instructed. The attendants were very kind, attentive, and caring. Announcements were in multiple languages, and very easy to understand. The flight was only 2 hours long, but even during that short time, they maintained great professionalism and polish. They even retrieved and stowed a bag multiple times for an elderly passenger without complaint, and frequently checked on him to see if he needed anything else. Quite nice to see!"

Checking in sucked, a whole explanation would wreck this page.....could not reserve seats near spouse. ....in flight entertainment was less than mediocre....seat positioning was grueling not able to get comfortable for the 13hour trip."
