The cree was great. Plenty of room in economy plus. Timely boarding.
The food was hard on the edges and too spiced on the salad.
The only problem was that I could not check in till morning 4 hours before my flight. Everything else was great
Seats on Air Canada Rouge are awful.
The flight was on time. The plane was clean. The temperature in the plan was good.
It was a little more turbulent than I expected.
Flight delayed and changing of gates
To far from one gate to the other, you need a shuttle
United flight delayed and caused me to have to change my connecting fight. Then that flight was delayed causing an extremely late arrival into Ithaca. Last time I flew United I said NEVER again. After this last delay, I will NEVER fly United again!
The flight attendant was super awesome. She was personable and had a great attitude. I didnt get her name, but she was by far the best! Blonde lady, smelled wonderful, very refreshing and funny conversation...(Ua1412 to LaGuardia) yeah yeah! Amazing!
I wanted the salami and cheese crackers but the flight wasn’t given any, so I chose the veggie smash/pita bread/quinoa/almond thing. Not too bad, but definitely no match for salami and cheese crackers. You know?
Boarding was simple; staff professional and courteous; seats in first are always comfortable; taxi time was minimal.
Breakfast was dull; TV monitors are gone
The jet was nice. I was in Economy Plus. So, I had a little more room. There were no TV’s in the back of the seats in front of me. You have to have an tablet, and connect it to their wifi to watch a movie. (You don’t have to go through paying for internet. Just Connect to the wireless access point and then go to www.unitedwifi.com. From there you can click on Entertainment to watch movies for free. Or, you can see flight details like ETA, altitude, and speed from clicking on the top-right of the page.)
I didn’t like that the flight attendant didn’t even ask me if I wanted to buy a snack pack. I was starving, and had read the menu in their magazine in preparation to order food. She came by and asked me if I wanted something to drink. I said Coke please. She gave me a tiny cup of Coke which contained a little more than a swig of Coke, and then handed me a tiny pack of pretzels before turning away to serve the next guest. This was a 2hr flight. So, no big deal really. I wasn’t going to starve to death. But, I never got to eat. By the time the food service cleared and they were making their rounds to gather trash before landing, it was really too late to address the issue with them. So, I just sucked it up and spent my $9.99 elsewhere.

Nothing, this was a miserable flight.
Gate at Philadelphia was tiny with not enough space for everyone on the plane, it was a 6 hour flight and no snacks beyond pretzels were available-not even for purchase. I'd just come off an 8 hour international flight where I was provided lunch, ice cream, a pot pie snack and frequent beverage service. Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it.
Bogus reservation captured via Kayak!!!
1. Been lied to several times about the issue that prevented us from leaving the ground. 1st excuse was they needed to unload a passenger luggage, then they need to return to gate to fix one of the lights.. 3rd oh we really do not know what is going on...but yet they kept passengers in the plane..just gave as a cookie and a cup of water bc of the delay... UNACCEPTABLE
Lots of food and wine/beer were provided at no additional cost and the first checked bag was free as is standard with British Airways. Basically I liked that American Airlines followed British Airways standards for the flight.
There were no personal entertainment devices, just a central tv for everyone to watch, and there were no charging outlets. The plane was probably from a museum it was so old. After boarding we sat in the plane without moving to the runway for 30 minutes just making the 8 hour flight even longer. The gate at the Lisbon airport was overly small and restrictive with everyone crammed in and unable to leave after initially entering.
The entertainment was good. A lot of things to choose from.
