Had a great experience. Checking in at the airport to collect our car was fast and seamless (plenty of cars were available to choose from) and there was no haggling or change in my rate. The drop off process was also seamless. We were unloaded and had a final receipt within minutes. Would definitely rent from them again!Reviewed 1 May 2024

Pros:Staff friendly at pickup, staff friendly at dropoff.Cons:I opted for a convertible for a special weekend. Felt it was worth the $1,000. Well, turns out the Mazda X-5 had a cheap key fob and a security auto-lock system. My Florida cousins are all dealership folks. We had 5 guys trying to figure out this keyless entry while the Mazda idled in front of my cousin's house where I'd left one bag. Thank god his house is not on a busy street. Alamo 800 # rude, not helpful at all. AAA locksmith got it sorted out. I missed an entire day on the beach and worried my 80 year-old mother. For all thatstrees I was given a $50 discount on my $1,000 rental. Fine by me, I didn't want to talk about it at that point. 5 car dealers and a locksmith could not sort out this 10-cent key fob. We all know how the good ones work. This one was garbage. To Alamo, I would say, know your inventory. If you are aware that certain vehicles have peculiarities, such as a tricky keyless entry system, and a security lock-out system, then offer your loyal customers a 5-minute tutorial when they pick up.Reviewed 9 Mar. 2021
