Pros:This is our go to place for a weekend in Minneapolis. Great location near Guthrie Theatre and river. Rooms are small but very well designed.

Pros:Aloft Minneapolis is convenient to the light rail and bus lines. It is an easy walk to the business district. Close to the Guthrie Theater, Gold Medal Park, and the Mill City Museum. Check out Izzie's for ice cream. Hot breakfast sandwiches are available to order in the morning.
Cons:There are no ice machines on the room floors. You have to go down to the lobby.

Pros:We thought Aloft had a great location-- we had a great view of the new Minnesota Vikings stadium and there were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The setup of the room is very modern and there were plenty of amenities available to us. Very cool atmosphere!
Cons:The bathroom facilities were not all that private-- our sliding door did not shut all the way, and the door also doubled as a full-body mirror, which made getting ready a bit awkward, to say the least. There was also an opaque window in the shower that opened up into the bedroom-- we found that to be a little bit odd.
