Sunshine Suites Resort has a great location with beach access. It is a boutique hotel built in 2000 and revovated in 2013. Near the North Sound Golf Course and the Blue Tip Golf Course, it's a great vacation getaway. Other nearby attractions are George Town which is a 10 minute's drive away and Owen Roberts International Airport is about a 15 minute drive.

Sunshine Suites Resort has an onsite restaurant called the Sunshine Grill. Guests can order Havana chicken, fish tacos, hamburgers and more. It serves breakfast in the morning as well as lunch and dinner later in the day. There is an extensive cocktail list.

The hotel has two floors and 131 rooms. Pros:The breakfast could have been better, need to have more hot choices.
Cons:The iron in the room that I stayed was not working , did report but it was never replaced. The hotel price was very high for the amenities offered. No elevator so we had to struggle with our bags to the second floor.

Pros:The king sized bed was comfortable for me, but may not be the case for everyone. I liked having a kitchenette to make sandwiches and a quick meal to cut down on the cost on eating out. Stove top although only 2 rings worked extremely well and heated things very quickly (I saw a review that said the stove didn't heat water very quickly but ours was fine). Pans provided were excellent, along with crockery, cutlery, wine glasses, cutting board and a small amount of utensils. The breakfast provided was perfectly adequate for us with coffee, tea, juice, pastries, fruit, yogurt, toast & cereal. Loved the use of the Westin facilities - sun loungers, umbrellas on beach and pool, it is a 4/5 minute walk across to the beach, but the cost of the Sunshine Suites rooms compared to the Westin make up for the walk. Renoir on the front desk was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. He should be training others on how to treat guests as the ladies at the desk weren't as helpful. Grounds around the hotel were superb.
Cons:The Wi-fi wasn't spectacular, just adequate. The rooms are a little dated, but not terrible. The A/C can be hit or miss (we tried 2 rooms before finding A/C working in the last). One major problem was that the Hot and Cold lines on the faucet in the tub had been reversed, quite serious for children and elderly. Front desk on check out said they are addressing this issue. There is no elevator/lift so you will get exercise - we were on the top floor, but it wasn't too bad for us - but we are fairly active. Wasn't happy with the $30 per night wi-fi, facilities charge, but it's alot cheaper than other hotels.

Cons:Very spartan breakfast included,small common area and only public access to beach. No elavators for the 3 story property. A/C, while it had controls, it had little control blew cold air in all modes. No hotel van. Access to a sister property the Westin,across the street was available for 30 per day.

Cons:Much older crowd of guests - almost everyone was above 60. Also frustrating that they deactivate your keys before the 12:00 pm check-out.
