Vendor suggested that had we arrived one minute after 4, we would not have been able to pick up the rental and yet made no effort to call the contact number to advise that the 4M pickup was the very latest possible. Also seemed to have trouble verifying the license and commented that I might need my passport. Having rented from Budget many times with the same license, I was surprised.Hertz

Guy was rude, the car promised was not what was being offered to me. When I asked for another vehicle he gave attitude. Car was dirty and had an odor. They did not offer a replacement. Guy was on a personal call during transaction. Had rude comments made during drop off.10.0 Wonderful

My car reeked of cigarette smoke. There were no other cars available at that first location so I drove an hour with the windows open to another location to get another car.Cons:
One of the agents made a mistake on my contract and closed it out in the middle of my rental. So when I tried to return the car, it took about 30 minutes as the agent couldn't find me in the computer. He ended up renting the car to me again and then closing it out. Was not a smooth transaction.Avis

I informed Enterprise about the car having a colony of ants that made their way inside the vehicle the entire three hour drive to our destination and I was told that it happens if the car is sitting out for long or not being rented.. They said it’s happened before so I question why this would happen again.. If this wasn’t the first time, they should have thoroughly inspected the car before renting it. Also, I mentioned that my friend had a minor allergy to cat fur because every time she got in the car, she would start sneezing and her eyes reddened. Thankfully she was mildly allergic so we were able to get some allergy medicine but it just made me question their overall inspection and cleaning process with their vehicles. The car itself kept glitching on us and kept showing an error message about a sd card being removed. We tried calling them about it but the automated message would say they were closed when their website said they were open. It was bothering to be asked what we wanted from them to make up for the inconveniences... We only wanted a car that wasn’t infested by ants and was thoroughly cleaned and inspected before renting out to people.2.8 Poor
