Fue la peor experiencia. Nosotros solicitamos el auto a las 9. Llegamos a retirar el auto a las 10, ya que se retrasó una hora el viaje. Y me quisieron cobrar por llegar una hora después, a pesar de en en sus términos puedo llegar hasta 6 horas más tarde. Pero me dijeron que por haberlo contratado por kayak/priceline tenía q atenerme a sus términos. Les muestro q los términos de kayak/priceline no dice q el tiempo de espera es solo de una hora, sin embargo no les importo. Nos maltrataron y nos dijeron q no nos podemos quejar en su país. Les pagamos lo que pedían y tuvimos q esperar 40 minutos más el auto. Y cuando llega nos dicen que nos cancelan el contrato. Por lo que nos cancelaron el contrato y no nos devolvieron el dinero, ya que lo contratamos con uds y no con ellos. Nos amenazó que hasta nos iba a deportar si nos seguíamos quejando. Tuvimos que irnos a otra rentadora.

When I arrived at the pickup location, they didn't have a car for me and told me they didn't have a reservation for me. So, I had to move all my plans and assume all the additional costs that the inconvenience caused to me. Renting a car in Mexico is a complete mess. The cars are so basic. Police are waiting for you at the exit of the rental car location to fine you for a random reason they will make up. The insurance is extremely expensive. There are so many reason more I don't recommend to rent a car in Mexico.

Very bad experience. The announced price was not the right one and i was forced to pay an insurance 3 times the price that was never announced. Taking the car was very long. Our cas was very gas consuming and expensive at the end.

The representative that was at the car rental booth was on his phone the whole time since we arrived. After 10 mins on the phone with a sarcastic smile he just said, we are very sorry but, we ran out of cars" how do you run out of cars when you have booked one in advance. Horrible service, will never book through them again. After reading the reviews below, I would have never gone through this rental place. I totally agree with the previous reviews.

Unfortunately, I didn't get National's great price because the child seats I reserved (and confirmed by phone twice in the week before the rental) were not available. The guy at the desk didn't much seem to care, either. So I was left to waste an hour hauling luggage up and down the row of counters trying to find another company with the child seats, which ended up being three times the price that National had promised.

When I arrived at the airport they did not except my reservation. The pricing provided online was different at the airport. The insurance was triple the amount of the car rental. The taxes as well or triple the amount of the exact car rental. When I receive the car it was scratched all over and was very dirty. I was told that I did not have to wash the car when it was returned and I was charged 600 pesos for the cleaning I was told that I would also be responsible for paying for the repair of the scratches that the car already had.

They couldn’t find my booking despite me forwarding all the booking details . It took one hour to finally get the car. Gas tanks wasn’t full and requirement is to turn it in at the same level, which makes it difficult for to figure out how much gas to add especially since I wasn’t familiar with price per gallon in MXN currency.

We didn't end up renting the car. When we arrived, they told us if we do t pay $600 for their separate insurance, we have to pay $36000 US to cover the entire car, even though we have coverage with a credit car. The car would have ended up being over $1200 for a week. We will never book with Europcar again.

There was another foreign customer there that was facing the same issue, These company is dishonest and want to take advantage of their customers. Stay away

Upon my arrival I went to pick up my rental at the place indicated and once I was ready to finalize the car rental paperwork I notified that the price was alter from USD$16.43 to USD $60 per day. That was very misleading to set a price and then have it changto higher

I was under the impression that the insurance I purchased would cover the car, however when at the Europcar counter they told me that my insurance did not cover anything and they did not accept it. I had to pay 3 times the price listed online and wasted $40 pre-purchasing insurance.

After checking in with my reservation at the airport office, (I’d reserved a minivan for my family of 6) ai arrived at the lot they said they don’t have a van because it broke and won’t have another (or anything else to fit 6 people) for two days. So I walked to Hertz and got a great experience.

When I arrived they didn’t have the reserved type of car. I could get a smaller car at the same price, discount was not possible nor was a higher category car. Apparently this is a typical scam done by this locally owned branch of Firefly, they attract customers with low prices online and expect them to take something smaller for the same price as they don’t have much choice after a long flight standing there with suitcases etc. Kayak should be ashamed you give these types of criminals a platform for their scams. I will not use Firefly or Kayak again. SCAM!

The price, the car, the agents. The car was in good condition, the agents were friendly the check out process was quick and easy

Cons:

The check-in took 1 hour and 20 and we were the only people there. When I declined their insurance, which was more than the car rental itself, they physically charged my credit card the whole estimated price of the car ($300.000.00 Mexican pesos)

Office was clean and easy to get to.

Cons:

The car I reserved was not there. I needed an automatic, any automatic. Kayak showed this location as having several automatic transmission cars, one that I reserved. But when I went to pick up the car, they were totally out. So I had to book from Hertz at the airport and we were put about 3 hours behind schedule due to commute, etc.

Pros:

Car was clean and relatively new.

Cons:

Car had no gas in it when picked up. (Red light on). One of the wheels didn’t have air pressure with pressure notification light on at pick up. No credit was given when car was returned with Kore than half tank more at return. Credit card info was stolen from the system by someone who was trying to charge the card for other purposes.

Pros:

The car did sit all of the people that we had in our party, but, we were not informed that you cannot have anyone under the age of 12 sitting in the front middle seat.

Cons:

When we arrived, they did not have our car available, even though we had a reservation. Our plane was delayed and their response was well you were not here at the time of the reservation. We had to wait an hour for a vehicle and nobody explained the huge price increase for insurance coverage until we were picking up the car.

Pickup and drop off were easy. Car fit our group. Decent gas mileage.

Cons:

Car was very beat up. Tires were bald. Had a blowout on one and since we were outside of DF we had to buy a used tire and pay for the replacement. Radio volume didn’t work. Springs poking through the seats due to wear. Ended up paying $125/day USD with insurance. Wouldn’t have minded the cost if it was a well maintained or newer vehicle.

When we arrived at the address for dollar, there was a rental place called firefly (never heard of them). They said my car was ready, but that the insurance was 100% over the rental price, and that there was no other way. So, a 900 rental was 1800x obviously trying to take advantage of us because of the dates. They said my booking did appear on their system but the price was other than the one stated. When I started arguing with them, a manager was called, and he said he could lower it a couple of dollars. I did not fall for their scam, and left without a car; I preferred to call an uber. Never again will I rent with either company, and you should be aware, they are using your app to scan people.

Car given was not what we reserved. I reserved a suburban and got a Ford Explorer after waiting 2.5 hours for the suburban to show up and had my 80 year old Mother with me

Cons:

They charged me $230 US per day insurance. A major rip off as the insurance was more then the vehicle rental. Would NOT recamend and I’m sure I’ll get no response to my issues
