Loved the check-in experience. Very friendly staff and not crowded. I did wind up with a middle-middle seat, which was quite uncomfortable. Always appreciate the very professional staff on TAL.

Was not able to check in online, so had to stand in line for 90 minutes to get a boarding pass, and I had no luggage to check. Why not let people check in in advance on line? Or at a kiosk at the airport?

they were much nicer on this flight. however, my baggage was delayed by one day, and one of my suitcases arrived broken.
Sadly, the plane was extremely old and uncomfortable. The entertainment system broke down completely. We couldn't even charge our phones. The seats were also very uncomfortable, with a very slim seat cushion. It must be the result of having 9 seats where there used to be 8.
Staff didnt want to work, had to get up to get food and ear plugs myself even after calling the attendant multiple times. Both bags were not recieved in Dubai, called the next day to confirm bags were recieved and had to go to airport to pick up the bags. Now coming back to LAX one bag made it and the other bag is still missing.
Oh my god! For an13 hour flight they serve you food just one time. Also don’t be thirsty they give you a little small cup of soda to drink. They seem like their goal is to feed you one so they don’t have to be bothered with you. It quite surprise for such a long flight there are several times to eat at least three and the food was well lackluster. The food and lack of offering drinks which were always hot no ice provided.
I found it okay. Did not think the food was that great. And the service could have been better. Seat was a little cramped. Delay getting to Istanbul made me rush all the way across the airport to get to the connection. This was a not good experience.
All good. Didn’t get the seats I booked online. Luckily, copassanger cooperated! Mistake- I failed to verify connecting flight seats details at Mumbai. Staff at Mumbai airport to be blamed equally!
Lost my suitcase. And communication was poor. No offers of compensation for over 24 hour delay of bag
The worst experience ever! They never told me I had to transfer my ticket at the ticket transfer counter. They moved me to a flight leaving the next day, which was also heavily delayed. The staff at the airport were rude and not helpfull. I'll never travel with this airline again and will not recommend it

The boarding was delayed several times. The take off was two hours late.
The plane was very comfortable, the seats were great for overnight flight. The bathrooms were spotless the entire flight
I didn’t use Entertainment so, no comments on it. Staff was courteous, efficient and helpful. Wines (I also tried Polish White wine) were really good, so also the food. The accessories provided were good (a goodnight chocolate would have enriched the experience 😀) Originally flight reached before time but we didn’t understand why it was sidelined for almost half an hour and also, luggage was delivered quite late (20-25 minutes) and that too after changing belt! That need not be LOT’s fault! Overall, I would certainly like to travel again with LOT, worth recommending!

no kiosks to check in with- it’s 2024!!! the flight was so hot and uncomfortable - not sure if that’s what caused a lady to faint during the flight but i was absolutely miserable.
Lufthansa was amazing. Definitely upgrade your seat if you can swing it - they take very good care of their passengers. Customs in DC is nothing short of a nightmare though. Stood in line waiting to go back through security for 30 minutes, had to RUN through and across two terminals to make my connection and only had 5 minutes to spare. Terrible. Very very poor coordination by the airport staff and CBP.
Air Canada from Edmonton to Toronto was disappointing but Lufthansa from Toronto to Frankfurt was excellent.
Departure was delayed by 2 hours and passengers were sitting on the plane.
I ended up buying (for $340) "extra space" seats because I my flying partner was given a STY boarding pass, leading me to conclude that she was on standby and that we had to buy seats on the flight. I later learned that the flight was not sold out and that we could have gotten on as usual. To be honest, I felt swindled.
Just lucky: After realizing I was on "standby" b/c of a technical seat problem, someone volunteered to go Premium Economy, & I got to keep my Business seat. Found broken headphones, and they replaced them immediately! Excellent food and beverage service. Although we went to ALM first on our way to NQZ, it meant Business class was almost empty for the last 1.5 hours of flight- heavenly!

I'm Canadian. I have the unfortunate experience of pretty not having the choice to fly with them. THEY ARE TERRIBLE.
