C$ 742 Find cheap flights from Fort McMurray to New York

Was the longest flight I have ever taken to Orlando. Not Westjet’s fault necessarily. There was a traffic issue in Orlando. We sat in the airplane for about 2 hrs before leaving Calgary on a 5 hour flight was just a little long to be stuck in the plane. Once we arrived in Orlando we were stuck in traffic on the ground for another 30min. I guess maybe the flight could be delayed so boarding would have been later so we wouldn’t have to have the discomfort of being on the plane so long.

For some reason there was a change in the cockpit which delayed us by an hour

Menu selection was limited and not appropriate for a flight of this length

I like WJ but I don’t like traveling anymore

Good flight. No I’m seat entertainment. But my phone worked just fine on the west jet app.

4 hour delay, lost our bags, staff was loud and it was an overnight flight

We were late boarding, but it all worked out. So, no problem.

It was good but not comfortable seat with the long legged persons.

No problems here. WestJet does a good job, even on their short haul flights

I didn't like anything, Westjet cancelled the flight the morning we were to leave.

Pretty good service and US Migratory officers providing services in Canada was awesome, because the arrival was quick and smooth

The staff were so kind and helpful. We flew back from NY with another airline and it was horrible. We will always stick with Air Canada as everything was far better!

A 2 hour delay because they couldn’t fit some oversized cargo in the small hold doors of an Embraer! Surely they know the sizes before attempting to load it?

It took 5 hour to get a crew to D Ice the plan. We had to sit on the runway for 5 hrs. in Calgary. It snows most of the winter. No proactive plan. In addition, after 3 calls to customer service they couldn't figure out how to have my wife and myself sit together on her birthday weekend. Everybody kept passing the buck. No decision from customer service, luggage drop off or check in team. The experience was a complete mess! I don't think we'll ever fly on this airline again.

The wifi I paid for did not work. The seats are tight.

There were no free snacks…little pretzel bag or cookies like we had on our flight out.

It was good except it was quite delayed arriving to Newark.

The seats are comfortable. Flight was comfortable and on time. Love the format of the map (so different from United.

Overall everything was fine. This leg one of suitcases got smashed badly, and the airport employee told us to call the airline when we got home... No you have to get a file # at the airport or the airline won't do anything for you. That was on me for believing him and not necessarily the airlines fault.

The only complaint, and it was a HUGE HASSLE, was the carrier of the flight from Newark to Toronto on flight AC 3711. On my itinerary it stated that the flight was 'Operated by REPUBLIC AIRLINES/UNITED EXPRESS'. Translation: it was a United Airlines flight. Different terminal, which meant frustration with inability to check in at Terminal A, needing to catch a shuttle to Terminal C. I told my friend who was picking me up that I was flying United Airlines. She waited for me at the United Airlines terminal in Toronto, except I arrived at the Air Canada terminal. Very confusing and difficult for all of us. Better communication is needed when other airlines operate Air Canada flights.
