I like the location. I also liked the closeness to the river. The breakfast was just okay. Nothing spectacular.
Ants in the room. Other bugs. I was sick and tired and didn't have the energy to leave or I would have. The room was dated, old. The cushions on the seating looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a decade. The paint on the walls was old. Why don't they repaint it? I'm paying a hundred bucks a night, surely they can afford to paint the hallway. The carpet on my floor was old and stinky. The trash by the river walkway was too much. Why not go pick that up? The noise was unbearable at times. The housekeepers one day were all talking and laughing in the room across the hall, this very loudly and for a long time. It was annoying. Lots of door banging. Lots of kids running in the halls yelling. Lots of adults chatting in the hallways for long periods of time. Not much rest due to this. No napkins on the outdoor tables. You have to go inside and ask for them. No water in the room. I expected some water in the room. None. Day two one bottle was left by my door. Nothing on day one or three. This is an expensive hotel but felt dumpy, at least my floor did. It was a dumpy place. Bathroom was very dated and super small. Last, electrical outlets for computer charger were away from bed. You had to sit on the very dirty cushion to do work and keep devices charged. Kind of unbelievable price they charge for all that is wrong here. I feel angry.
