Pros (+) The San Roque Boutique Hotel is in an excellent location in a charming traditional small town. We paid for a room with a separate bedroom, lounge and bathroom. All beautifully decorated traditionally in wood. The sheets were changed so often and the rooms were cleaned and the bed made every morning while were eating breakfast. Pros (+) Gorgeous property in a central location. The sauna and pool were amazing, and the rooftop terrace was a beautiful spot to watch the sunset.

Cons (-) I don’t think there is an elevator, but the staff will carry your bags to and from your room. There are also rooms on the first floor if you need an accessible room.

Pros (+) It’s a beautiful building, tastefully decorated, with a small but nice swimming pool, the terrace area was lovely, and the staff friendly and welcoming and very efficient. Breakfast was good with a selection of dishes including freshly cooked eggs bacon etc

Cons (-) Bit quiet and lacking in atmosphere, but perhaps that’s the type of guests that go to small boutique hotels, (no one acknowledges each other and it’s all hushed conversation, not our usual style) and nothing to do with the hotel.
