Pros:Prices were jacked up mich higher than normal. Staff offered me a small SUV over the sedan I originally reserved but it turned out to be a lousy bumpy ride, intolerable at highway speeds due to the vibration at 75mph and greater. On the plus side, it didn't break downCons:Cleanliness. I had to hit my breaks hard once and trash slid out from under the passenger seat.Reviewed 3 May 2021

Pros:We were the only people in line, she had us wait for at least ten minutes while she did paperwork. Finally another gentleman came out and helped us. The car smelled so badly of cigarette smoke, if we weren't so tired from a long day of travel we would have returned the car. One day rental!!Reviewed 6 May 2019

A Really Bad First Time Experience with PaylessPros:The Chevy Tahoe was comfortable and easy to drive.Cons:There was only one counter agent working when I went to pick up my vehicle. He was working with a customer and there was some sort of problem as I waited for almost an hour. Then, they didn't have the vehicle I reserved and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes until they found something for me. It appears they gave me an Avis or Budget vehicle. It did not have enough space for all our luggage and passengers so we had to rent another vehicle from one of their competitors. I did not receive a reduced rate for a lower class of vehicle nor was I given a refund.Reviewed 30 Dec. 2018

Cons:I extended the rental agreement, but instead of charging me my daily rate on the contract, they tripled it and charged me that instead. I filed a complaint ticket yet management is unwilling to fix the problem. Basically they ripped me off.Reviewed 30 Dec. 2018
