We arrived in Orlando at 9:30pm went to rental area A and Payless had sign "go to area B" which is on the other side of the airport. Went there and Payless window was empty. All other companies had staff and lines. Tried to call Payless and got hung up after being told, at 10pm, that the desk closed at midnight. Attempted new rental with another company and found out Avis owns is same company as Payless. Went back to Payless and Avis person was present. They did Avis contract and sent us to get car. But car was not in the spot we were told to get it from. Went to outside Avis counter and told contract was all wrong, got new contract and car. Took nearly 2 hours to get things figured out. Payless left ALL their customers in the same situation that evening. Will NEVER NEVER use Payless again.Reviewed 23 Mar. 2022

I called Payless to confirm my rental (Economy) the day before I was to pick it up. The rep I spoke with confirmed the rental and asked if I'd like to upgrade to a Toyota Forerunner. After a brief discussion, I declined the offer to upgrade. When I arrived in Orlando, I went to the Payless desk, but, per the sign, it was closed and I had to go to the Payless desk in the other terminal. Once I got there, I advised the rep (wearing a plain white blouse with no ID) I was there to pick up my rental. She asked my name and I provided it. She advised she had a Toyota Forerunner for me. Confused, I asked if I was getting a free upgrade. She advised I had reserved a Toyota Forerunner. I advised I had reserved an Economy car. She refused to help me and told me I had to call the 800#. I stood at the counter for nearly 2 hours until another very professional rep, Mildred, got involved and helped me. All turned out as it should, but the first woman was extremely unhelpful and provided horrible customer service. At one point, she told me her shift was over and she was going to leave me standing there at the counter. Thank goodness for Mildred--got management involved and I ended up with the car I reserved at the rate I reserved it since I still had the confirmation email. The other woman has no interest in customer service and has no business being paid to work with customers.Reviewed 21 Mar. 2022

The car should not have been in the active rental group. Stone chip in the fron wind shield on the passenger side and also there was an issue of deflated tires - I had to stop and fill the tires to correct pressure. Other than that< the car was fine. i did not apprecciate being charged for and extra hour when I had the car back before 1:00 pm.Reviewed 30 Nov. 2021

Signage for dropoff at the airport could have been better- we had a difficult time finding the dropoff spot. It would have been nice to have some instructions as to how to use the radio- it took us days to figure out. The car wasn't very clean inside.Reviewed 27 Nov. 2021

I understand that the workers are stretched thin now a days,this plandemic is a bit much and very taxing. I was treated well by the front line staff doing the best they can under the circumstances. The hotel front desk person said "customers have to request the room to be cleaned or if any thing would be needed-other than that the rooms get cleaned every three days?Reviewed 18 Oct. 2021

Pros:NothingCons:Give me the car I paid for. First they said they couldn’t accommodate the deposit on my card (lies they Could and did in the end) then I paid for a Yukon or a Denali, they gave me a 12 person passenger van.
