Insane amount of fees and surcharges that made this more expensive than one of the name brands. Shuttle to the facility, longer waits. Just skip it and go to a known outfit. One returning my car I get lost and drove through two toll barriers. I have contacted the company twice about getting on top of this situation and making sure I don't incur any additional expenses; but it seems they are not as helpful as they could be. I had a non-refundable fully prepaid two day car rental reservation purchased at Kayak (booked through priceline). I just came back from the car rental location after wasting two hours for 3 family members (including a 6 year old) and wasting money on uber rides because this was a fraudulent booking because they told me (a) the reservation does NOT including liability insurance without which it is illegal to drive in all states, (b) I needed to additionally pay $15+ per day for toll e-responder (which is mandatory because many tool locations no longer have cash lanes), and (c) after I agreed to pay both these additional costs which almost doubled the original price for me, and signed a more than dozen pages of agreements, the person at the counter offered me a car which had dents/damage at three location and suggested I videotape the car fully before leaving so that I am liable for damage. I have never rented a car where I video tape everything and made plans to fight off such scams. I asked the person at the counter to cancel everything, and we took an uber to our hotel. Can Kayak help me get a refund for my original booking and stop these bait and switch prepaid scams? Just to reiterate, I entered my credit card info at Kayak when I purchased this booking.Reviewed 25 Dec 2024

When I booked with you all the description said "Unlimited Kilometers" But when I got to the rental car place they said they would not honor that. They tried to charge me another fifteen dollars and change PER day for miles over 150. This is very dissatisfying, they said that it is because Kayak is a third party... It is really disappointing that your listing was wrong and the rental was going to be over three times the price I paid on your website.
