In some of the city park areas, parking may be difficult to find as a nearby or neighborhoods are restricted. The drivers in this area are generally pretty good. You need a GPS, the jumbled overpass superhighway will confuse you and spit you out miles away from where you want to go if you mess up. Drivers are aggressive so buy your insurance in advance at your home town insurance company beforehand, they offer better coverage for using vehicles that arent yours than the purchased insurance packages from rental companies, also cheaper too!!

Lovely counter service but I had ordered an economy car for the amount I was driving. They didn’t have any in stock and the next smallest car was an Audi SUV that takes premium gas. If I wanted an upgrade, I would have ordered one. Also didn’t appreciate the car letting me know I was past-due for service when I only had a two day rental period.

The experience at ACE Rent a car, Mississauga was extremely disappointing. Despite booking a car for a week, the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. Even after providing proof of insurance coverage, he refused to release the rental car and insisted on receiving personal information via email. This lack of customer service and trustworthiness makes ACE Rental the worst choice for car rentals. I strongly advise against renting from them and will not be recommending their services to anyone.

I was required to take $12 day insurance on top of my credit card insurance because I was unable to provide proof I had personal umbrella insurance. I have never encountered this and believe it was super shady and I felt bullied by staff there. It was after hours and providing proof was impossible, they knew they could squeeze their customers and they did. I was super annoyed, along with other people in line at pick up but my booking was prepaid so what was I supposed to do. They wouldn’t even let me provide proof the next morning. Will never rent with them again, their fees are hidden and shady AF.

They have hidden fees (they charge $11.95 a day mandatory insurance and rely on fine print in their contract, when the contract clearly says the price includes all mandatory fees). Then on return they appear to be trying to charge me for damage that was already there.(I actually talked with staff before I left about that exact paint chip they are now appearing to blame on me)

I booked my car on your website I had selected insurance in case of damage at the first $500 When I arrived to pick up the car, the queue was huge We waited more than 1 hour to recover the car I was then told that the insurance had been removed during the payment Suprise, it is then that the man at the counter mantionne me that I must take the insurance on the spot The rental should have cost me $ 360 and I left Économrent with a bill of $ 560 almost double mentioned on your site! I had to pay a $1,000 deposit that was mentioned nowhere before I was at the counter I had to increase my credit limit to be able to leave with the voirture I do not recommend anyone to do business with this site Very disappointing!

Worst experience I have ever had with a rental company. Additional insurance cost at pickup that matches the cost of the rental. Unsafe vehicles bad windshield wipers tires brakes transmissions, prolific damage scatches etc. Extremely poor cleanliness inside the vehicle. They also quickly spray down each vehicle before use as if to have provided a clean vehicle. So many red flags so extreme beware!

First of all, they were taking a lot of time and I was the one who booked a 8 seated mini van and they didn’t mentioned that, the one who has licensed need to booked a renting car but the case was solved at that moment and at last they provided us a 7 seated another model van and again they took extra time to find out 8 seated van where it took a couple of hours to solve the problems.

Great staff, quick processing and new SUV was a great experience. Only wish the car was cleaner when I picked it up. It was washed, but there was a lot of hard water stains all over including the side mirrors which made it difficult to use until I washed them. Besides that, was a great overall experience.

I had an issue with the class of vehicle I was given. I returned it and they gave me the proper one and returned the difference in the money I had paid. The counter people were awesome. The people In the parking lot accepting returns and inspecting on the way out needed some finesse in their customer service.

The place where I pick up the van was like a zoo, the guy that took me to the car didn’t want to check the van for damage and I ask him to and he says every was ok at the exit they will do it. I left to the next guy and told him they are some indentation on the van and he says that everything was fine and I was never provide with a inspection slip. The van was filthy and with garbage from the previous person. Was never wash or clean after the last use. Had no choice but to take the van as I need it to travel for 3 hours . Price was insane for the value and the kind of van.

Firstly, there was no phone number for NextCar at the airport to get shuttle. I eventually, after 3 or 4 calls, went outside and hoped I could get a number from one of the other companies drivers. Luckily, a NextCar shuttle showed up by chance. I was very frustrated. Then, at the rental desk I had issues with insurance for the car. That will be the last time I rent through NextCar or Rconomy.

Poor customer service. Had to call 3 times for shuttle from airport. When it arrived it was very run down and tired looking van. Interior dirty and seats wear not fassened down to floor properly. Once at office. Was sent to sit down and wait without staff willing to look at my reservation. After approaching 3 different staff ... finally found out they didn't have a car for my reservation and offered to refund any deposit if there was one. Several people in waiting room said they'd been waiting over an hour for their car. Reservation was booked on May 18th for a September 30th pickup. Very unorganized and unprofessional setup. Go to city car and truck rental instead!

- Pick up was confusing. I used the phone indicated to call the shuttle but it kept going to a voicemail that did not allow for connection with a person to let htem know that we were waiting. We spent about 20 minutes trying to sort out a way to contact them. -Car had 3/8 tank of gas, and we were expected to bring back with the same- which is quite difficult to target, and should be a full tank as per usual practices at other rental companies. -booking did not indicate that insurance was not included, so the price was ultimately double when I had to add basic insurance on arrival to the rental company.

horrible, sketchy little office building in the industrial section of the airport outskirts. Too small to let clients wait for cars to become available, and the wait was longgggggg, so nearly a dozen of us stood around with our luggage in the parking lot. Weather was hot, and several times cars pulling in or out of the tiny parking lot were close to collision.

Reservation was taken, talked to Thrifty customer service twice to confirm and adjust booking. I even talked to someone at the location directly about the reservation. I was called the day before the rental (I was driving my family to NY for a wedding), and they said no van was available, and on top of it, there wasn't one available until Sept when my booking was for Aug 16. Garbage service, no accountability, poor customer relations. I would recommend that nobody uses them.. if there was a rating lower than poor, I would select that.

Advantage uses another agency at the airport. They are difficult to get to, the shuttle doesn’t run very often and they are hidden down a hallway in a hotel. The office at this place called York is only open 9-6 and there are no after hours pick ups or drop offs but that was NOT made obvious during the rental booking process. Because the shuttle took so long for pick up I arrived at the office at 6:10. No one was there. I tried calling the number - voicemail full. I was given the advantage number to call for issues which I did. The person at Advantage said they can’t help me with that particular location and gave me the number I called originally - voicemail full still. Called the next morning when they were supposedly open- no answer - goes to voicemail, voicemail still full even though the office has been open for an hour. I decided to cancel my reservation. Again Advantage said they couldn’t do it I would have to speak to local office, can’t get through to local office. Sent York an email - they replied they cant cancel it, I would have to speak to Expedia. Expedia said they can’t cancel it, I’d have to speak to York. Ended up having to book another car with a different agency. I WOULD NEVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE or recommend them.

I found out the day before my rental started that the office closes at 5:30pm. My flight didn't land until after 7pm so I would've been stuck there. Rediculously poor. had to cancel and book with another company at twice the price. Unreliable. The website lets you choose pick up times after the office closes. Never again will I book with this company.

Was not advertised that closed on statutory holidays so incurred additional taxi cost to airport. Had only 200km/day. All disappointing and wouldn't book again.

Great guys, there are not located at the airport but the shuttle arrived quickly and it took around 5 minutes to get to their office. They also brought us back to the airport when we returned the car. The whole procedure for picking up/dropping off took 10-15 minutes.

This is a fraud a scam company, I rented the car for 470$ for a month I have local insurance and oscpe 27 that covers rental he said he needs an insurance transfer fee of 300$. This is illegal, very bad company. I went to another company I paid same amount they checked my insurance and do not let me pay anything extra.

EVERYTHING was a disaster! You should improve and avoid some of the awful things happened to us that made the worst rental car experience ever: "The hidden cost, their location far away of the airport, their unavailability to wait for us, they being out of contact, leaving us without car for 24 hours with all the logistic problems created, the unclear terms, the lack of customer service at all..."

They charged extra money for Kms. Which showed me as unlimited mileage while booking. Didn’t showed me anywhere that they are going to charge extra. They gave only 750kms free and charged me double for the extra Kms.

Pros:

It was a huge mistake to rent from this place. Stick to one of the more reputable companies at the airport. These people are not EZ they are a Canadian company renting on behalf of EZ and they are a RIP off.

Cons:

I have not had such bad service ever. Would never rent from EZ again. Big mistake not to have gone with Alamo, Budget, Hertz, Enterprise etc....

BEWARE about the scam! There is nothing to like about the rental experience. 1) The car rental place is a mile away. You need a train ride, 30 minutes wait for the rental company shuttle and multiple phone calls. 3) Bait and switch - you can reserve an SUV and offer you mid-size car for same price

Cons:

You'll be forced to buy their in-house insurance whether you're insured yourself or not, or they'll simply cancel your reservation on the spot. Staff is hurried and rude. Shuttle drivers VERY dangerous on the road. Surprise upcharges for mileage despite "unlimited" on reservation. Horrific!
