Getting off the plane and trying to find ace was a terrible experience. Called multiple times and could not understand the VISCOUNT instructions that the person on the phone continued to tell me. The experience was really good The staff was very thorough with everything which is good you left with a peace of mind Most car rentals you would drop off your keys and leave but I understand why you would want customers to stick around We will be using your company again next time But I would like to add it would be easier if one room was for picking up and a separate room was for dropping off and another for customer service especially with the volume of people gets a bit hectic for your staff they don’t know who is next who’s been helped and who is picking up or dropping off Otherwise great!Reviewed 23 May 2023

On the 2 May, after a long distance flight from Europe, I arrived the Viscount Station in Toronto Pearson International at 18:10. I called Ace car hire and the lady who answered the phone told me that within 7 mins someone would come to pick me up. It was a wet and cold day. After 20 mins there was still no one came. Then an Indian couple came out from the lift with luggages. Another 10 mins past and a car came. A girl and the driver came out form the car and the girl greeted the Indian coupe happily with a hug. I asked the driver if he was from ACE and he said yes. Then I realised the driver had already put the couple's suitcases into the back of the car and there was no more room for me and my father, even though it was a 7 seater. The driver then told me that another colleague would come to pick me up in 5 mins. But I waited for another 15 mins before the other driver arrived. So altogether I waited for about 45 mins instead of 7 mins !! He drove us to their office, and actually it was less than 2 mins from Viscount station by car. We went into the office and started filling up the car hire form. But the guy, the one who picked us up, was so slow. It took him about 40 mins to complete the whole procedure. Then he told us he goes to get the car for us. Another 15 min gone by until he turned up again. The car is so old and dirty inside with more tham 100000 km on the clock. It was the worst car i ever hired. The tank was empty and he told me to fill up the car before embark my journey. So finally when I drove off, it was more than 2 hours to get the car from the time I called their office. My mother, my boyfriend and my brother were waiting in the airport for me to come with the car all this time. The car also had no power. Anyway I will never use ACE car hre agian.Reviewed 13 May 2023

They advertise on the airport but they are not. They are close to the airport. We booked through kayak thinking it will be unlimited mileage. But they charge .50 cents per mile out of province. Spouses are not allowed to use their credit cards for the trip. If has to be only main driver. While other companies give the ease in those policiesReviewed 11 May 2023

The process of getting our rental took over an hour. The staff was a bit rude when they told us 3 minutes and we waited another 20 and when we asked again they interrupted and said 3 more minutes. They also add on fees here and there so instead of $75 that I was quoted it ended up being $90. I wish everything was just included in the original price. Otherwise the return process wasn't as bad and qwnt fairly quickly. Also I thought a $700 pre authorized hold was pretty steep. Usually I've seen $300 to maybe even max of $500. Anyway other than that the car worked just fine and everything with the car was great.Reviewed 27 Apr. 2023
