-Salesman committed fraud stating insurance was $40 for the duration when it was closer to $50 a day -Salesman committed fraud by implying my insurance does not cover rentals (he's acting inappropriately by hinting knowledge of my personal life....my insurance is not public....and it does cover rentals thankfully....but crossing that customer/business veil is inappropriate conduct and edging on safety concerns... -No handicap accessibility concerns, I am disabled, their disabled stall was closed but when I asked they said it was working, having me walk around the building in pain with my cane to find out it's broken. Not handicap friendly -They did not reserve us the Toyota we requested instead substituting for a Charger GT which consumes more gas and is more inconvenient to park than a smaller Toyota, this business tactic may have been done to increase my chances of scratching the car as I not being used to driving it may be likely to make a scratch or, they may have wanted us to forget about all their surcharges once we filled the GT for $120 then their little fraudulent surcharges seem small in comparison...sunken cost fallacy...disgraceful company...

We were lucky the front desk was empty at our arrival so it was quick. They looked at our car insurance and confirmed we didn’t need their insurance. The car was clean. But if you rent baby seats, they are more expensive s than the rental itself.

We are very desappointed because we did not pay the price we booked (about +50%) because there were lots of additionnal charges like the mandotory assurance (we didn’t know we needed to proove that we had a personnal assurance, if so, we should asked a proof to our insurrance to avoid the additionnal charges), a deposit of 2000$ and we were charged because we paid it by card, the car was old with lots of miles and they told us we were not allowed to drive 200miles away from New Orleans. Hopefully our trip was next New Orleans, but if you want to make a road trip it’s a problem. The last, but not least you can read on the door office that the price can change depending on the customer ! I really don’t recommand this Rental.

There was an issue with the usual check in due to tech problems, Your customer service team still worked diligently to check us in the old way and we were held up only 35 minutes instead of an estimated hour. The staff was friendly with both check in and return.

The experience at ACE Rent a car, Mississauga was extremely disappointing. Despite booking a car for a week, the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. Even after providing proof of insurance coverage, he refused to release the rental car and insisted on receiving personal information via email. This lack of customer service and trustworthiness makes ACE Rental the worst choice for car rentals. I strongly advise against renting from them and will not be recommending their services to anyone.

Allied car rental in San Juan Peurto Rico is a rip off. They made me buy their insurance, $10 a day, when mine said I was totally covered and made me buy toll coverage $10 a day. Later we saw we could have paid toll at the toll stations and it was $1 and only if you left San Juan. None of this was explained by kayak. I should have just rented from the airport, it would have been $30 a day and allowed my insurance and they are right there no shuttle.

Very bad experience.. I have booked car days before my trip, I called 1 hour early at store and want let them we are coming on time...but when they answered my phone they said we don't have car which you have booked... then I went at store, with hope they will do something for me.. that guy was so rude.. he didn't help me out.. he said book from somewhere else. We don't have car right.. I said why u didn't call me in morning. U telling me now right . We made a plan... then i had to book car from somewhere else with double price... one of worst experience with you guys

The car was not ready for me. I had let them know that I would be collecting it the following day and when I arrived they were still washing the vehicle. They gave me a bigger car and as I was in a hurry I had to return later to exchange for the smaller size which I wanted. Took a long time to do the paperwork when I picked up the car and 20 minutes to do paperwork when I returned it. They then asked if I had smoked in the car as there was a smell of smoke. It had had this smell when I collected the car.

My car was scheduled for 6pm. I didn't realize that they close at 6 as well, by the time I got there for a pickup, they were closed. I delayed my trip until next morning. When I got to Hertz for pickup in the morning, they didn't put any effort into getting me a car instead told me very rudely that they are sold out.

The “midsize suv” was a tiny Corolla Cross which is a crossover economy platform not an SUV of any kind. And it was expensive and the pick up area at JFK is torn up badly!

First and foremost when I arrived there, they did not have the car that I reserved and instead of try to accommodate me, they tried to give me a minivan. It was for my son’s eighth grade ball. I reserved a Tesla or something similar but a minivan to accommodate me. No no apology was given or anything I never reserve or rent from them again.

On pickup the agent informed me that despite my reservation request for a small car, the ONLY car she had available was an electric car. I did not want this. She told me she had no other cars and basically our conversation was over. I persisted and ten minutes later she came up with a Dodge Ram pickup. A real gas guzzler. Terrible experience!

The first car to which I was assigned smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. I had to go back to the counter and wait in line behind several other customers to ask to be assigned to another vehicle. The representative, while not very pleasant and certainly not apologetic, did give me another vehicle, which was not very clean. The vehicle (Ford Escape) performed fine and then the drop-off on return was quick and easy.

I didn't like national due the over charge was out rageous, getting charged 80 cents kilometers when it'd suppose to be 33 cents kilometers. They were charging 3000 kilometers when it's 23650 n charging 2000 in kilometers charges when he said I was out of province, they gave me a Alberta license plate car n now they want to charge me, the attitude from the man was very rude,problems with car and said couldnt do anything, I need to be treated like criminal, when it's criminal the way they try and scam you. I will never rent from another rental car company again especially your company, I don't give you any stars and a poor review. Worst company.. the way he ordered me to pay and the way he talked to me in public, he said I don't need to talk to him like that when he kept refusing to give the mangers number and argued with me n when people were staring he said I don't need to be treated this and talked in his language and got angry gave me the number after 20 min, I walked 2 hours home passed off with the treatment and then the guy took the car out and literally stepped on the pedal went more then speed limit on the airport road, he was mad with ne cause I refuse to pay 3000 dollars for double the amount to what was told.. never rent a car in fort st john they will rob you blind...

They tried to rip me off! didn't provide me with a damage for the existent damage and the employee said will provide it latter but I took pictures before I use the vehicle. Now they are saying the car never been damaged and I have to be charged for the old damages as according to their system the car never been damaged and the vehicle year is 2021! I disputed it and sent my proves but it is very poor management and it is stress and anxiety no needs for me to go through I put down a cheaper options to be with reputable company but National/Enterprise prove me wrong.

It may be wise to not allow this company to transact on kayak as their business practices are questionable at best. Issue: 1. Unexplained transportation, till you arrive in LAX, that consists of a lengthy bus ride and shuttle to arrive at the car rental location. 2. This business does not inform and does not allow its customers to use the coverage on a credit card for insurance. 3. This business does not accept the kayak insurance that is advertised as a way to save time and money, 4. Does not accept private insurance and says the deductibles are not high enough. 5. These practices leave a customer with the only option to accept and pay a higher rate than the kayak car insurance. 6. Thankfully, while attempting to understand the reasons why this information was not shared and while attempting to remedy these issues, a gentleman entered the building saying he just experienced a tire blowout, had to change the tire on his own as they would not respond to his calls and wanted another car to which they initially responded they he would have to pay for the new tire and another rental - deplorable. Please stop predatory companies such as Economy Rent a Car from operating on your website. At a minimum, I am requesting a full refund for this reservation that was not used.

I had to pay so much extra because apparently the insurance I had didn’t cover Expedia/economy car rental despite said insurance covering every other car rental agency. So either I was lied to or it’s just economy and I’m never going to rent from them/expedia again. I was also given a number to call travel guard which is not able to cover after the rental purchase was made. The car was also full of dog hair. In total this rental cost me 200$ instead of the 40 +30 I paid for the rental and insurance initially. Huge rip off. Took forever and is so inconvenient to get to without a car! Insane. Never again.

Took a long time to get the car. First of all, there shuttle only comes to remote rental car center near LAX. You need to take a bus to get there. Then you take there shuttle to get to their office. It took me almost an hour to get the get and be on my way. There were two agents working the desk and they were really helpful but, the whole process was slow. I had to wait a long time.

NU over charged me and said they would fix it when i returned the car. I asked for a receipt and they wouldn't give me one, said it would be emailed but i never got it. They owe me $40.82. when i called, the phone rang and rang. There is no email address, no other way of contacting them.

It was really hard to find the shuttle driver and when we did it took us to a sketchy feeling part of town took us into a warehouse and had us talk with a representative with a very heavy accent over a computer screen. We were not told where to bring the car back - turns out we had to find the sketchy warehouse back and they could not take us back to our hotel even though it was closer than the airport.

There was a minor scratch at the bottom of the front bumper which is not visible unless you are on your knees. As far as I am concerned we didn’t do anything to cause it. It may be already there and we didn’t notice when we took the care at midnight. At any rate my gripe is with how they handled this situation. We bought most expensive coverage possible with them which is twice the rental price itself. But during checkout they stalled us because of this issue even though we told them that we are cutting too close to our departure time and requested them to call the insurance and get it reimbursed because we already bought the coverage. But they insisted on us calling them and we couldn’t because we didn’t have local mobile plan. After lot of back and forth they checked other contracts on the vehicle and probably figured out that the damage was already there and the let us off the hook. It was a happy ending but the whole drama could have been avoided if they had customer service at the forefront of their minds.

When I went to pickup my car, I had to wait ~1 hour to speak with someone at the desk. The agent I spoke to at the desk lied to me and said that I cannot use my personal auto insurance and had to use their plan. I call their corporate number later and the confirmed that agent was incorrect and refunded my money spent on the insurance. The car they had reserved for me was stuck behind several cars on the lot and inaccessible. Because of this they tried to give me another vehicle in the same class. The replacement they picked had visible damage/dent to the multiple panels, doors, and bumper. I started documenting all the damage in detail and taking pictures, the agent started getting visibly annoyed. He ended up providing me with a different car in the end. When I came time to drop off the vehicle, the lot nearly full and there was a line extending into the street just to enter the lot. I'm still waiting to deposit to be returned and I anticipating that I will need to call their corporate office again. This was an extremely poor experience through and through. I will never rent from Mexrentacar ever again, and I will never recommend their services to anyone.

Despite all the negative reviews from other customers, I find my experience with thrifty car rental smooth, I had to wait a bit for my rental car, but the agent was courteous enough to extend three hours on my return time, so I'm very pleased with their service!

Cheap prices, easy drop off. Had a small chip in windshield from highway driving- covered by full insurance thankfully

Cons:

Pickup Thursday before long weekend took forever. Car seats were stained and gross.

TL;DR DO NOT CHOOSE THIS RENTAL LOCATION. IT'S A SCAM This specific Thrifty location should be black listed. I called them by phone to let them know I was going to be 20 minutes late. They told me my car wasn't there, but it WOULD be at 3pm (3h late). Fine with me. I called back at 2:30 to verify my car was there. This is where the Thrifty representative was horrible! I was informed that there were no cars for me. I asked how can this be, I have a confirmed reservation. She said all the cars were rented in the morning. I inquired about brining in a car from another location but she insisted there were no cars available. We went back and forth. I was firm, but not once did I raise my voice, swear, or sound aggressive. I was just trying to find a way to get a car because I needed it to go visit my family for the Easter long weekend! Eventually she hung up on me!!!! I called back and she picked up the phone and hung up. I called several times and she either didn't answer, immediately put me on hold, and or just picked up and hung up. The end result was that I was left stranded in Vancouver, away from family for the entire Easter weekend. All other rental cars were booked and or too expensive for me.

Rented a 12 passenger van for a college trip with students to study marine biology in southern Florida for 3 weeks. Reservation and rental agreement indicated $889 as total price, $500 (approx) downpayment was made at reservation. Upon arrival, they charged me $1,500 and said there is some required insurance although my University pays for full insurance on all fleet rentals. I do not see this in the details on expedia. The van was in poor condition - dent in the back with cracked bumper from a prior accident. One seat was literally zip-tied on. Two seats did not have seat belts so effectively serves as a 10 passenger vehicle. The zip-tied seat and missing seat belts would be against the law so I have reported this to Florida's Attorney General office for investigation.

My experience with prices was absolutely horrendous when I went to pick up my vehicle. My rental was canceled due to all the delays at the airport. I will never do business priceless ever again.

Experience was not great. Did not know that priceless was not inside of the Tampa airport. When we landed it was 8:30 and priceless closed at 9 so we had to rent a different car and they still charged me.

This is a horrible company that charged over $1000 for a deposit, and never returned it. They claimed I chipped the license plate cover.. seriously? Whether that is true or not, the charge for $1000 should fully or almost completely refunded.

The agent was not at the airport on the day of pickup. He told me the reason was that he had called me a day before and I had not answered, which is not true as I have the call logs and haven't received any call/sms/email. Then proceeded to tell me that most of people don't read T&C and that I had to pay 500 EUR insurance for 4 days if I wanted the car, on top of other fees. I am pretty sure something like this would stand out in the invoice, not hidden and nothing to do with T&C because this company would then have much bigger problems than scam sales. I raised a dispute for service not provided, scam offer change. Never again.
