Here’s how to use Explore to start planning your next trip.
1. Head to kayak.com/explore for our interactive map. There, we’ll use your geodata to autofill your home airport (no worries, you can totally change it).
2. Next, select the dates, month or season you want to travel. You can also specify how long you plan to be away.
3. Then, decide whether you’re in for the long haul or just want to hop-skip-and-jump to your destination. Using the slider, select how many hours you want to be up in the air.
4. Now, this is the big one. Adjust your budget. Don’t be shy. Whether you have $300 or $3,000 to spend, we can try to find your next destination.
5. And voila! The map will automatically update as you change your selections. Scan around to find the destination that you want to visit that also fits your budget. We’re showing you the least expensive airfare we were able to find within the last 48 hours.
6. Choose whatever option suits you. At a glance, you’ll see info including travel dates, airline, and the number of stopovers. By clicking “Find Flights,” you’ll launch a flight search that will compare all current offers to your chosen destination.
