I had to pay so much extra because apparently the insurance I had didn’t cover Expedia/economy car rental despite said insurance covering every other car rental agency. So either I was lied to or it’s just economy and I’m never going to rent from them/expedia again. I was also given a number to call travel guard which is not able to cover after the rental purchase was made. The car was also full of dog hair. In total this rental cost me 200$ instead of the 40 +30 I paid for the rental and insurance initially. Huge rip off. Took forever and is so inconvenient to get to without a car! Insane. Never again.

Took a long time to get the car. First of all, there shuttle only comes to remote rental car center near LAX. You need to take a bus to get there. Then you take there shuttle to get to their office. It took me almost an hour to get the get and be on my way. There were two agents working the desk and they were really helpful but, the whole process was slow. I had to wait a long time.

After my experience with this company I understand why they have a low score, initially I let myself be carried away because they offered me a very low price, but when I pick up the car the cost was going to be higher than the other companies with better score, so I decided to go and rent with another company, I do not recommend ECONOMY RENT A CAR for anything, very bad service and unethical

Total rip off like priceline who mentioned Unlimited kms on the invoice and then refused to refund me. They started showing me terms and policies when the Invoice clearly shows Unlimited kms. Spolied my trip. Lost my money and had to book another place. Waste of time. Terrible experience.

The Thrifty office was well signposted but it was a vacant, unfurnished shopfront. It was only a local mall security guard who told us that actually Thrifty operates out of the Hertz office (the word Thrifty is not anywhere), and even that is a third party company again. As a result, we have had to deal with 5 different companies to get a hire car. I suggest Kayak does not do business with Thrifty Mexico until this is resolved.

It was horrible because we didn't got a car. We were 2 hours late (what we wrote them via email) and when we arrived they told us that the reservation is cancelled and the car is not available anymore. They tried to give is another car then which would cost us more then three times the price from the reservation. Absolute horrific situation and employees.

It was really hard to find the shuttle driver and when we did it took us to a sketchy feeling part of town took us into a warehouse and had us talk with a representative with a very heavy accent over a computer screen. We were not told where to bring the car back - turns out we had to find the sketchy warehouse back and they could not take us back to our hotel even though it was closer than the airport.

There was a minor scratch at the bottom of the front bumper which is not visible unless you are on your knees. As far as I am concerned we didn’t do anything to cause it. It may be already there and we didn’t notice when we took the care at midnight. At any rate my gripe is with how they handled this situation. We bought most expensive coverage possible with them which is twice the rental price itself. But during checkout they stalled us because of this issue even though we told them that we are cutting too close to our departure time and requested them to call the insurance and get it reimbursed because we already bought the coverage. But they insisted on us calling them and we couldn’t because we didn’t have local mobile plan. After lot of back and forth they checked other contracts on the vehicle and probably figured out that the damage was already there and the let us off the hook. It was a happy ending but the whole drama could have been avoided if they had customer service at the forefront of their minds.

Pricing was alright. Extremely pushy to upsell their insurance and almost made it seem as though if you didnt purchase their insurance that it wouldnt be good enough to rent a vehicle from them. When finally just agreeing to their basic coverage just to get out of there, I asked a lot attendant which vehicle I could take, and they pointed out a specific vehicle (a black hatchback). When i tried to leave with the vehicle, person working at the exit booth acted like I was stealing the vehicle and kept repeating that I can't take this vehicle. After telling them multiple times thats what the lot attendant told me I can take, i reversed the vehicle, put it where they told me. They then said that I could take one of the sedans, then they changed their mind halfway as I was about to start putting stuff in the sedan and told me to take a crappy hyundai sedan.

The car i rented was running on some old tires. Two front tires wire was coming off. I had to go to the tire shop to switch out the tire, put my trip on hold. I was suppouse to go skii that day but i couldnt. Very dissapointed.

For whatever reason you always have to wait longer for their shuttle vs other car agencies, the lines for checkout and check-in also are longer, they nickle and dime you on insurance requirements like no other rental car agencies. The car I rented was older and had previously been wrecked and fixed with a bad paint job. Other than that it was ok.

Would never recommend ACE to anyone going to Las Vegas. Not only is the facility in the back of an unlit/unsafe area, the staff was completely unprofessional. When I asked why I need to pay $500 upfront for a $40 2 day reservation, no joke the guy looked at me and says, "in case you smoke in the car". I have NEVER paid a deposit on a rental car in Las Vegas or anywhere for that matter. The staff unfairly profiled me when I don't even smoke. Let it be know, I instantly walked out of there and paid Uber instead.

Staff were not friendly at pick up or drop off. Total advertised price was inaccurate. When providing our own insurance, service representatives were snippy as soon as they realized they would not make that extra $ off us, they kept threatening penalties, coverage gaps, and potential legal action even though proof of full insurance coverage was provided. We were provided with a vehicle from Nevada with summer tires and 2 wheel drive even after explaining we would be crossing the mountains. At drop off the receiving staff was angry and rude. ACE will not be getting our business again and should likely just advertise their true price so they can pay their staff more. I’ll gladly pay the extra (as advertised) cost for a properly equipped vehicle from a more reputable rental company. Do better ACE.

Horrible - do not book with NextCar. They denied my car insurance because I was not the primary policyholder. I have full coverage insurance, so there was no logistical reason to deny it. The supplemental insurance cost as much as the rental itself. I was never told at the time of booking that I would be forced to use their insurance if I wasn’t the primary policyholder. I was only told so 24 hours out from my booking. I’m actively trying to get a refund for this.

Very efficient staff—I was in my car in less than 5 min from arriving at the counter

Cons:

I wanted a compact car, but the key to it was misplaced so I was given a “free upgrade” to an SUV. It was a definite upgrade in car, but as the city I was driving in had narrow streets and park places, I was wishing I had the compact instead. Really think twice about accepting an alternate class of car and if it will suit your needs as well.

My experience was actually amazing. The on line experience and both in person experiences were excellent. I do not want to take away from that. The accidental ordering of two cars, and being able to cancel with no trouble was a very great experience as well.

Cons:

My experience ordering an economy car and getting a V6, was a bit sad. I had a long way to travel and that was the impulse to get a eco car. The gas cost more that the rental of the car, due to the engine size. My recommendation would to ensure if a eco car was ordered do your best or at least tell the person so they may choose something more fuel efficient. All in all great experience. Thank you so much!

I booked mini van online i was there at the location on time. I called, I went to the front desk, ask everyone around. No one was there to inform me anything or reply by email or cellphone. Online your able to pay with an American Express Card. When you get there after a long flight and a a long drive from Mimai Airport to get there....they tell you we do not accept American Express cards. Mr and two other customers went through the same thing...there was a lot of upset people in the same boat...yelling, arguing. I will never use them again! Stop accepting American Express online for carwiz!

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I showed up alone and got quite sick and was shaking. I didn’t think I could drive. The staff spoke to my husband on the phone and got me in a cab and sent me where I needed to go. And then we picked up the car the next day. They were terrific!

Pros:

I regularly use national for all my business travel. They have great cars and great customer service when you BOOK THROUGH NATIONAL.

Cons:

National had originally told me they didnt have any cars, however I was able to book one through kayak. After booking with kayak my company contract with them was somehow no longer valid even though I had to still pay and do everything through National.

Pros:

Turning the car in at Seattle was as should have been.

Cons:

Overpriced!!! $630 for 2 days. We went to the National counter at Vancouver, and were told that they did not handle my rental. That I had to go to the South terminal. No instructions on how to get to the South terminal were given. We went around the airport lugging 5 suitcases and an infant for over 1 1/2 hours until a bus driver told us how to get to the remote terminal. I will avoid renting from National ever again.

Make sure to take pictures of the vehicle, any noticeable damage before you even drive it. Then provide those photos whenever you drop it off. There was damage on my vehicle if I did not document them I would have been charged for it. Other than that, everything was good.

I had a road accident that collided with an animal in highway, causing damage to the car(dented hood). I didn’t buy insurance prior to and during picking up the car. However Policy of the insurance isn’t clear in terms of making up for the loss and repair. It turns out to be not optimal for a situation like this to go as long as it did to let me know how much I am going to pay as I am a traveler and leaving soon. But I don’t want to leave without fixing the problem.

Convenient location in an older building along with a fuel station and a car wash. the rental agent was very cordial and showed me the return location (was confusing) as the building driveway had tight clearances. Return equally easy since I understood where to go. Were given a cute Citroen C3 with a six speed manual trans which was comfortable, fun to drive, and offered plenty of space for the two of us. Five gold stars!

I came to pick up the car and nobody was in the office so I had to wait for them to reach and got the car late. Also, I asked for some extra to be deducted from the deposit but they made a mistake and I had to pay it separately. They did give me an upgrade because they were late but I just end up spending more gas because I got bigger car..

Had to return the first car like the front was gonna fall off exchange it. The next day upgrade was not much better. Told the attendant that I would bring it back on Tuesday, April 30 by 9 AM the original contract was for 22 April through 29 April and again I told the attendant that my flight was on the 30th so I have a receipt showing that and now they’re trying to charge me for an extra day so I probably would never do business with priceless again thank you

The facility was dingy and the pick up and drop off processes were over complicated and extremely slow. My experience was fine but at least a third of the other customers ahead of me had issues with their reservation. The car itself was fine and the price was good, but I feel like I won a lottery of sorts and I don't think I'll choose them again.

The car was dirty when we picked it up. It only had a single floor mat il and it was in the back. It was missing a hubcap and had body damage to the right rear. The final price was much higher than was quoted. The listing said that the car was "in terminal" but it was not it required a shuttle ride. Overall experience was poor. I would rather have a bus pass than rent from these people again.

Words cannot express the sheer level of disappointment and frustration I experienced while dealing with "Right Cars" Car Rental. This company is a prime example of how NOT to conduct business, and I strongly urge anyone considering renting from them to think twice and avoid this nightmare at all costs. Let me start by saying that "Right Cars" has absolutely no regard for their customers' well-being or financial security. When I arrived at their rental office, ready to pick up my supposedly affordable 50 euros car, I was greeted with an outrageous demand: a whopping 650 euros as a deposit. Are they out of their minds? It's beyond comprehension how they can justify such an exorbitant amount for a car that is worth a fraction of that deposit. As if their greed wasn't enough, "Right Cars" shamelessly refused to refund or provide any reasonable alternatives. Instead, they presented me with an ultimatum: pay an additional 80 euros for insurance or fork over a mind-boggling 500 euros as a deposit for a vehicle that should be barely worth the initial rental cost. This level of exploitation and disregard for customer satisfaction is simply disgraceful. It's clear that "Right Cars" Car Rental thrives on taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. Their outrageous deposit requirements and unwillingness to accommodate reasonable requests are not only unethical but also bordering on fraudulent practices. I cannot stress enough how important it is to steer clear of this company if you value your hard-earned money and want to avoid unnecessary stress and disappointment. In conclusion, "Right Cars" Car Rental is an absolute disaster of a company. They epitomize everything that is wrong with the car rental industry. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and financial burden by choosing a reputable car rental company that actually values its customers. The pick up hour should be an interval, our flight delayed and the man from car rental didn’t wait for us. It was necessary to arrange a paid transfer to the hotel. Also the phone number mentioned in the voucher didn’t work and nobody answer. I was helped by customer service from my hotel to manage to be in touch with somebody from The car rentals. The experience was awful.
