You like things to be a certain way. Your daily order of a large iced vanilla mochaccino, hold the whip, extra mocha. Your dinner salad, always with dressing on the side. So why not get the same level of customization when you book a flight?

With flights filters, KAYAK searches hundreds of travel and airlines sites at once to show you options from across the web. With our flight filters, you take all those options and whittle them down to the right one for you. Only want to see first class red-eyes to London? No problem. Want a non-stop flight that leaves after 7pm to avoid rush hour? We got you. Looking to save money with Basic Economy but want to upgrade to onboard WiFi? Yeah, we can help you search for that too.

Here are just some of our useful features that let you customize your flight search, based on what’s important to you.

Stops: For when you’re trying to minimize (or maximize) your layovers.

Listen, some of us just want to step off a plane and into our destination, with no disruptions along the way. But others like the adventure of experiencing a new airport (or city) or want to take a break mid-flight to stretch our legs (and shop). Luckily, our Stops filter lets you choose how many times you want to get on/off the plane.

Times: For when timing is everything.

Our Times filter lets you decide what time of day you want to depart or land. Perfect when you’re only going away for the weekend and really want to maximize your time in your destination, or if you’ve got a morning meeting but want to be in Miami by dinner time.

Layover Airports and Flight Duration: For when you want to turn your stopover into a mini vacation.

We know there are some great stopover cities out there, where airlines and tourism boards are even offering incentives to get you to stop by and stay while en route. With our Layover Airports filter, you can pick out which cities you’d like to stop in. Then, using our Duration filter, you can decide if you want to take the afternoon — or several days — to explore that city. Conversely, you can also use the Duration filter for those times you’re traveling internationally and want to make sure you have enough time to get through passport control before you have to make your connecting flight.

Airlines and Booking Sites: For when you’re trying to decide who to book with.

Belong to an airline’s loyalty program? You can check off which airlines you’d like to search so you can earn points towards your stay. Or maybe you have a voucher from a third party travel site that you’d like to use. With these filters, you can be sure you’re only searching the airlines and sites you want to book from.

Price and Cabin Class: For when all you care about is price.

Let’s get down to it. Sometimes all you care about is how much your ticket costs. Our Price filter lets you set those parameters. Maybe your boss has put you on a budget a work trip or you’re thinking about visiting home, but only if you can get a deal. This filter lets you narrow down your search to only the flights that fit your price range. You can also control how much your flight costs when you use our Cabin filter to select the class you want to fly. Choose to see only Basic Economy Fares or go all-out in First Class. And for those instances when you’re cool with flying Economy to your destination, but would rather upgrade your flight home, we’ll even show you options where the to/from flight classes are mixed.

These are just some of the powerful filters you can apply to your KAYAK flight search so you can be confident you’re getting the exact flight you want. To see the rest, and to find the right flight, simply start searching.
