This is the perfect location to stay in Old Quebec City. It is within walking distance of almost everything any tourist would want to see. My only complaint was the unreasonably long time to get hot water to the shower - many gallons of water wasted while waiting for water to heat to even a reasonable temperature. The process took at least five full minutes.

Pros (+) Great location close to everything - attractions, river, restaurants, and shops! Although it is very busy, any noise that can be heard in your room (if facing the Frontenc) is all done by 11 pm, if not earlier. That said, I was surprised it was not noisier. Loved the window seat and being able to open the window, and have a drink in the room and rest your feet before heading back out. Comfy bed, g...

Pros (+) Very comfortable beds and pillows. Super clean. Walking distance to everything in Vieux Quebec.
Cons (-) limited counter space in bathroom. towels had too much fabric softener so they wouldn't absorb water.
