From arrival to departure, the owner Andre was always available, with tips on where to go, what to see, and how to enjoy his hometown. His breakfasts were made to order, generous and excellent. The house is beautifully decorated, with two shared spaces to relax, watch television or play pool. We highly recommend his Gite.
Breakfast was good although very late.
Electricity went out. The bed was ancient and freaked loudly every time we moved slightly. It was not clean. The kitchen was frightening with dirty dishes and skillets. We were told we’d be served breakfast at 8:00 and then the owner went to get food then, so we were easily an hour late getting on the road. Very disorganized, irresponsible, with owner in and out and unreachable most of the time.
Andre was a great host -helpful and congenial
Unit needs general upgrading
Convenient location. Nice host. Delicious breakfast.
Very thin walls. Very noisy plumbing all night. Not terribly clean. Quite expensive.
Cosy enough - like coming home! We use the air con it was such a relief in the summer months!
Perhaps size of the bathroom - a bit tight but ok for few nights really!
