Le Case - Residenza DI Campagna

This is a beautiful place in the hills, in the country side. It is about 15 minutes from Assisi. The facility is nice with different rooms and cottages and a pool. It seems to be geared towards businesses as you can have classes and conferences there. It is all very clean and the rooms vary. The first room we got was tiny and even though design wise it was sleek, there was for example no where to put your soap beside the funky sink or no where to put anything in the shower. Beds were good but we ended up buying our own pillows as every place we stayed in Italy had these very flat, hard pillows. Highly recommend eating at their other Inn, Tavola Cavalieri. You will need to book a table.

When we arrived at Le Case there was no booking to be found. The rooms were all untidy from a large group and it seemed they had not expected anyone so the cleaners would not arrive for a few days. We finally did get a room, very small, and got a better room the next 2 nights. It seemed we were the only ones there. Breakfast was minimal but included. Do not trust the GPS as ours took us on the tiniest gravel roads. Recommend you drive via Assisi.
