Overview

Big Sur Lodge offers travelers a relaxing retreat away from home. It's located in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park and is surrounded by the natural beauty of the redwood forest. This lodge features a total of 62 non-smoking guest rooms. It's ideal for families and adventurers wanting to get away from the sounds, as well as stresses, of the big city.

Guests can settle down in cottage-style accommodations with an outdoor deck for scenic views of the landscape. There are family-style rooms that can sleep up to four people, as well as quarters with kitchenettes and fireplaces. A bathroom with shower, tables and chairs, a coffee maker, a living room, and sofa are other amenities travelers will enjoy.

Besides a heated outdoor pool, Big Sur Lodge has an event facility and conference center to accommodate large groups. It offers complimentary parking, daily housekeeping, and concierge services. Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Visitors can also check out the gift shop and general store.

Situated on the premises, the Homestead Restaurant offers to dine indoors or outdoors on a patio that overlooks the river. It serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner using local organic ingredients. The Espresso House has coffee and specialty drinks, as well as sandwiches, salad, and milkshakes.

Guests can explore the hiking trails in the 1006-acre state park, go bird watching for California condors, or take a dip in the swimming hole that's close by. Outside of Big Sur Lodge, visitors can check out the Henry Miller Memorial Library, the purple sand of Pfeiffer Beach, and the Point Sur Lighthouse.
