The motel was clean, comfortable, and recently remodeled. It's a small, traditional motel...you're not getting a day spa or rooftop lounge, but it was exactly what we were looking for! The owner was incredibly friendly and even sold us some of her art that she creates and decorates the rooms/ grounds with! Beds were comfy, and the Wi-Fi was responsive. The other guests were also quiet and respectful of everyone else's needs for some solitude in such a beautiful area. All in all, a perfect "one-night" stopover for motorists. The only drawback, if there is one, is that Bluff is a small place, surrounded by big scenery. The few restaurants and one convenience store were all closed. We had stopped overnight on our way through Monument Valley and onto the Grand Canyon, and had a heck of a time just finding ice for our cooler. Apparently, the Navajo nation has been hit pretty hard by Covid, and thus, they can't really operate their businesses. The motel obviously can't control that.
