Very satisfied
Pros: The car was great almost new 12000 kilometers a VW Polo . This is the second time I rent a car in Italy at the same place . Love it.

Pros: Staff at both locations were friendly and helpful. We chose a Fiat Panda to carry four of us plus three suitcases and three rucksacks, which barely fit, but the car was up to the task of taking us to the Dolomites and then on the autostrada.
Cons: Pick up (in Padua) and drop off (La Spezia) locations were a bit further from the train stations than I had thought.

Very good service
Pros: Got the car we wanted. Brand new, clean and with the latest gadgets.
Cons: The 2 hour lunch break. (12:30 - 14:30) Whole office shuts down. I guess that's the norm.

Mixed Review
Pros: When we agreed to use a manual shift, the service and the car were fine, fully professional.
Cons: We had a confirmed reservation by email for an automatic shift car. When we called the day before picking up the car, the man at the Hertz office told us that there were no automatic shift cars available, only manual shift cars. After trying other agencies, we finally called Hertz back and accepted a manual shift car. The service and the care were fine after that, but I didn't like at all not getting what I had a confirmed reservation for.
