We went down to Bellingham for a quick overnight trip, did some shopping, and stayed at Silver Reef Casino Resort. Overall, it was a great experience. The highlight was definitely dinner at the steakhouse — the food was excellent and the service matched. Our server, Tim, was great and really added to the experience. Pros (+) Restaurants and morning free buffet were excellent. Rooms had windows that did not open and made it very stuffy. Hotel staff messed our rooms up and caused a lot of shuffling around. Casino slot machines are plenty and new and clean.

Pros (+) The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We stayed in the North Tower newer section. Great beds, and shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons (-) Smoke from the casino permeated most of the hotel but not our room. The steak house was closed in Wednesday but the bar food was very good in the Portage Bay Bar.
