$250 for one of the worst stays in my life
The location worked well for us and the staff was decent. There was also plenty of parking and cheap breakfast places close by.
Exposed wiring on the interior and exterior of the building. Air conditioner was very loud and ran all night. At 4am the phone started blinking brite orange due to a message. It wouldn't stop blinking until I check the message which was a Quality Inn advertisement. Sheets were so crunchy it literally scratched the skin. The price went up to $250 for the cheapest room because they were price gouging for the upcoming Nascar event which was several days away. I will never stay at a Quality Inn again.
Excellent value the money
The AC was very cold, especially nice when the outside temps are over 100 F. The room included a mini fridge and microwave. The location was great, as it was directly off the interstate. I couldn't even hear the highway, although we were facing it. The staff I saw were all very helpful and nice, and made my visit my start to finish great.
Bed wasn't very soft, the mini fridge had tendency to freeze anything in there, no matter how you adjusted it.
Place was over rated
It was close to shopping, restaurant and where we needed to be.
I booked a non smoking room. I checked in around 3:30 and was given a smoking room that was horrible. I requested a different room and was told the place was full. I believe they had other rooms but didn't want to give us a up grade. They did move us the next day.after speaking with housekeeping about changing out all of the bedding. The place was outdated and over priced. I wouldn't go back. I did find that most of the staff was helpful and friendly.
We will be back...
Love the fact that the hotel is centrally located with places to eat and shop...
Close proximity to the freeway
Something Else and Odd
It was a local and easy on the pocket. Staff was friendly and helpful as well.
Woke up with bite all over my arms and hip. Need to deep clean the beds or get a entire new setups.
Location was only plus, as it was near a few of our destinations.
Front desk gentleman helping us was fine. A more seasoned worker was very argumentative with him and the process in which he was helping us. We were to have 2 two queen bed rooms. Unfortunately, the room had 1 queen bed and sofa in the room and our keys didn't work for other room. We returned to front desk to see if we can switch rooms. Front desk personnel assured us it was a pull out couch, we had checked and it was not. So my 12 year old son stated it was not a pull out couch. She then started to argue with my son that it IS a pull out couch. Our room keys only worked for the one room so we asked if she could key them again. She states we weren't doing it right. I think if I can successfully get into one room with a key card, I'm pretty sure I can manage the intricacies of getting into another. As she is telling us how we weren't putting the key card in right, she realizes all 4 keys are coded for same room. She then states she will prove to us the couch is a pull out. She will walk us to the room and show us how to pull it out, (once again she tells us we weren't doing it right). She really should stop arguing at this point, but on the way to the room she complains of the other gentleman in the front office, stating how he's new and he argues too much. Umm, wasn't him arguing. Anyway, we get to the room and she marches over to the couch, flips up the cushion to show us how to pull out the bed, and she realizes it's not a pull out. We are reasonably intelligent people and if we say something isn't right, the front office personnel need not argue with this customer. I will never stay here again.
Only thing good is big room and big garden that's all. The carpet is very dusty and aircon is next to your bed that you can't even sleep in your bed. Luckily there is a sofa at another side of the room for me to nap.
The room carpet was not clean or vacuum, both myself and wife find that our bare footed leg was black in colour. Further to my agony was the aircon unit was next to my ear (just barely 2 feet away from my bed side). The room was very big with a sofa set inside but i just can't understand they has to position next to the aircon uint. My suggestion is to exchange the bed and sofa position and it will solve the sleeper problem.
Good staff. Very good breakfast - liked the waffles, big swimming pool and on the way to the canyon from joshua tree. Near shopping facilities (in a car).
No lift and if you have luggage, you have to haul it up to the first floor yourself, which is made worse if you are not near the staircase.
Great place to stay, very clean, great breakfast, and great price. Good location to our events.
Whee arriving in town could see the sign for it, but hard to get to. No signs directing you.
The continental breakfast was very good. It was very quiet at night so we got good sleep.
One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because of the bar on sight but it was closed while we were there.
receptionist excellant, bed comfortable, hot water
service not good,
Great location, very friendly and welcoming staff, good parking and several restaurants to choose from.
Lounge not open very late, even on friday's and saturday'S.
The location was quiet. The room was cleaned promply. The continental breakfast was great. The price was right.
Had all the comforts of home (fridge, microwave, cable tv, huge beds, plenty of towels). Was an easy and not too far trip to the track for the races. Very close to major stores for shopping and within walking distance of places to eat.
From my first day I inquired about some items the hotel had and kept getting promises about the items and that they would get back to me. Brought it up to at least a few different people multiple times and no one ever got back to me. Was very disappointed.
comfortable room, good service, nice people, very accessible for my pet
We appreciated the design and quietness of this facility. Eventhough we are in our seventies, we found it brought back those honeymoon days!
