8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing as was the Tree to Bar chocolate making experience.
Cons: Some of the menu after a few days is limiting
7.5 Good
Pros: Restaurant, pool & bathroom
Cons: The rooms were far too open, with no protection from insects etc. The rooms were too close to jungle-like trees. Lovely architecture but not at all practical.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: All of it.....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, outside shower, staff
Cons: Super nice hotel
5.5 Okay
Pros: The scenery was fantastic
Cons: Bad service no smiles, very disorganised
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best shower ever! Great view from room. Infinity pool was amazing. Great friendly staff. Top notch food. They have 2 boats for guests.
Cons: WiFi reception wasn't very good in the Luxe rooms. They don't sell their own chocolate :(
8.8 Excellent
Pros: - Hospitality of the staff. They are welcoming / kind/ helpful - Quality and freshness of food - Room (7) was perfect - Chocs in your room each day - Shower was amazing - Views - Location for walks and tours. Easy walking distance to some - Easy place to relax - Massage was 10/10 - The hotel give you a mobile phone for the duration of your stay which was super handy
Cons: - Very little going on in the eve. Not really a problem post hike but could be very quiet for some - Price of food and drink is high. We were there for a week and craved something simpler / cheaper but there were no options (we found a restaurant right by the entrance at the end of our stay!) - If you want to eat at Marthas Tables, call ahead of time to avoid disappointment
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible views, food, staff and accommodation. Cannot fault it. Also helps that it’s near the airport.
Cons: Literally cannot fault it. And we are picky.
6.8 Good
Pros: We stayed in a Luxe bungalow which had a 4 poster bed, mosquito net, view of the Piton from the bed through the open shutter doors! We were visited by friendly bull finches (we fed them some of the complimentary cookies!) there were hummingbirds everywhere; it was 'back to nature' and fantastic.
Cons: But it was SO quiet. I didn't realise there was no TV, I hadn't brought a bluetooth speaker with me so we played music on the phone. It's a 3 mile drive to Soufriere which is charming but frankly the $20 dollar taxi cost each way is total rip off. So just to try a restaurant automatically costs you $40 and although the prices of food are reasonable in the little town, once you have done 3 of them, there's nothing else. I booked and paid for 9 nights but left after 4 (losing my money!)but I was so depressed - it was my BIG 60, and I had planned it to be a bit more vibrant than this. So I recommend a short stay here and then move up the Island to Castries and Gros Islet. I feel I should also mention the lack of ambience in the bar in the evening. The chap behind the bar was not a happy bunny and with the view they have, nothing is done to attract you to have cocktails while the sun goes down.(our jokey comment of 'oh when is Happy Hour' or is it 2 for 1 was met with a stony gaze!) We went across the road to Ladera where we were welcomed enthusiastically, the view is just as amazing and the arrangement of the bar area conducive to chill whilst enjoying 'several' sundowners. We spent $150 dollars in one evening at Ladera which Hotel Chocolat should have had with us being a captive audience!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the view, the staff
Cons: A little more variety in food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was the vacation dreams are made of; nothing short of perfection.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and excellent view Good food Will surely come back again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Truly epic hotel - surreal room and dining area. Quiet beautiful beaches , awesome food and firednly staff. This is our new favorite island hotel (4 seasons lanai moves to #2)
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff
Cons: When you pay USD 2,000 a night for a room, you expect an exclusive experience throughout. The beach fills with day-trippers at about 11 am and by 1 pm, you have to leave the beach. There are close to 100 people wondering around the beach, laying out their towels next to your chaise lounge, eating box lunches and making much noise. Management says they can’t do anything, but still, they sell them refreshments, rent them chairs, towels and umbrellas and snorkeling gear. Jade Mountain has become a money machine - everything is outrageously priced and there is little peace throughout the day. I was there just 2 years ago and it was a very different experience.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really nice and great views
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place, Very beautiful and service level is extraordinary. Stay at-least for 2-3 nights to get in the groove of the place. I can't believe that I spent this much money on a hotel, but it was worth the experience.
Cons: The road that approaches the resort is very bumpy
Ladera Resort - Soufrière - Bedroom
4
9.2 Excellent (322 reviews)
C$ 1003+
Overview Reviews
Ladera was once part of Rabot Estate, one of Soufrire's oldest and most famous cocoa plantations. In 1982 it was transformed into the unique resort it is today. Taking full advantage of its natural surroundings, Ladera offers a unique design in guest accommodations. The 37 suites all have an "open wall" the west side of each unit is left open to expose the breathtaking view, and the orientation of the buildings maintains complete privacy. As one of the top St. Lucia resorts, the suites are constructed of tropical hardwoods, stone and tile, furnished with locally crafted wood furniture, fixtures and accessories. All units are decorated with local artwork and feature magnificent views of the Pitons and Caribbean Sea.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Great view of the Pitons and Sugar Beach.
Cons: - Property is dated and not well maintained - the fixtures are old, mattress, pillow and blankets worn out. There is a sofa that has a bed sheet on it. There are old drawers. There is a plunge pool (but our filter didn't work so it wasn't clean). - There is one outlet to plug your phone into - that's it. No other outlets. - They give you one key to the room that's on a wooden fish - hard to carry in your pocket. - It's not clean - first day I pulled down my blanket and found hair and "other" stains on the sheets - they hadn't been changed... - Rooms have 3 walls - the wind at night blow through your room and is loud, there are mosquitoes and at night bats fly in and out of your room - Property right next to a busy road - you hear cars all night long - You can hear the people next door fighting and screaming (if you have those kind next door) - literally awake all night listening to a woman screaming and yelling - The bathroom shower doesn't work, no water pressure, hot stops working in the middle of your shower - and they don't replenish your shampoo or body wash, so it runs out pretty quickly - There is no water in the room (aside from a couple of bottles they give you day 1) - room service charges you $8.00 USD for a large bottle of water PLUS $10.00 USD to deliver it... - YOU ARE TRAPPED AT THIS PLACE - there is a store but it has nothing but merchandise they want to sell - the closest store is a 15 minute cab ride that will cost you $30 roundtrip - There is NO beach - you can take a shuttle to Sugar Beach where Ladera has negotiated usage rights BUT you will have to pat $50 USD per person for a chair everyday. Even if you only are there for 2 or 3 hours. - The resort pool is a joke, compared to what we saw every day at the Sugar Beach resort - There is ONE restaurant and the menu doesn't change - so everyday (unless you take very long and expensive cab rides) you are seeing the same few choices...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything exceeded our expectations. Unforgettable views.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Kindness of people, private pool and the view
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The gorgeous views from the property and the room, the plunge pool, the open concept rooms, the breakfast, and overall service was all great!
Cons: Did not like the steep price of the beach beds at Sugar Beach. Ladera should negotiate a better deal since they prolly bring so many more customers to Sugar beach who eventually end up paying for other services like food and drink anyway.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The views are something very special and the food is very good.
Cons: Not all rooms have heated pools and you really are in the rainforest, which is amazing, but be prepared for everything that brings; insects, rain and sounds of the jungle!
6.3 Good
Pros: View from the room is amazing.
Cons: The online picture of the pool was different than the reality. It was a shock. There is only one restaursnt with limited food options. Food is not tasty. There is no breakfast buffet.so you dont have any options but to go other places. It is very difficult to go to other places since you are dependent upon the hotel taxi..I will not come again. Also, the common pool is so small too.
7.5 Good
Cons: Windy bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent the first night of our honeymoon last week with Ladera and it was amazing. The views can't be beat. You can't go to St. Lucia and not experience the views from Ladera first hand.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is absolutely stunning. The rooms are unreal. You won’t want to leave. We were treated like royalty at Ladera. The staff takes the time to know you and is there for any request. It was my boyfriends birthday and due to some unexpected rain we had to cancel our dinner arrangements. We decided to stay at ladera for the evening and wow I couldn’t believe how much care they took to arrange an amazing birthday night for my boyfriend. I can’t say enough about how lovely the staff treat you and how gorgeous the property is. You won’t regret staying at Ladera.
Cons: We loved everything!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The views were absolutely stunning! The staff was very good at communicating and worked with you. Everything was done in a timely manner. Food service was delivered always on time. Staff got everything coordinated to perfection. (I.e excursions, dinner reservations, taxis, etc.)
Cons: The net around the bed wasn’t very effective. Got ate up by mosquitoes. Since there is obviously no A/C it was very hot and hard to sleep at night. The ceiling fan was ineffective because of the low speed setting you can not change. Electric fans would definitely help. The pricing for the food is way overpriced. Wasn’t too impressed with the food.

Pros: Restaurants were great - very accommodating to gluten-free diet. Beautiful beaches and great hiking in the property.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staffs was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Standard room was a disappointment, very small and needs updating.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything but needs air conditioning!
Cons: Needs air conditioning!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, great views of Pitons, two very nice beaches. Good food (but expensive). 'Design' hotel rooms - open air.
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent beach, Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin
Cons: Shabby resort facilities
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The food, service, and location were absolutely outstanding! It felt like a beach oasis in the middle of the remote jungle, but with all the comforts and attentive service of a luxury hotel. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to take care of me as a single traveler. Every meal was delicious, and I really enjoyed having multiple restaurants to choose from. I loved the morning and evening yoga classes overlooking the beach, as well as having lunch at the grill at the secluded second beach up the coast. I would definitely recommend for a relaxing escape!
Cons: Even in the all-inclusive rate, many of the add-on excursions or activities were expensive.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is simply paradise! We stayed there for few days only to start our honeymoon trip and it was worth it! The staff is very friendly; food is good and this is rather quiet and peaceful area.
Cons: Maybe the fact that it is rather secluded so can be a mission to get for an excursion? This isn't applicable for us as we stayed only 3 nights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most incredible attention to detail in every way...the staff was so intent upon making us feel comfortable and tailoring our stay, including private tours to hot springs and volcano. The beach and snorkeling is spectacular and the food is as well. We hope to be back same time next year.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was outstanding. Cheerful and helpful.
Cons: Nothing.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Very big room
Cons: They charge for everything. Very expensive and poor breakfast not included. No phone in the room, far to the beach.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place,friendly staff,excellent food,I can recommenf.
Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort - Soufrière - Building

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliest staff ever. Great food in the restaurants. Breakfast was a highlight of the day. Really couldn’t fault it in any way.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Every aspect of the resort was simply first class and attention to detail, cleanliness and upkeep of the entire property was way beyond reasonable expectation. All Staff across the spectrum were extremely professional, very polite and genuinely helpful and friendly, nothing was too difficult for them to accommodate. The location of the resort, Jalouisie Plantation was quite a way from the nearest main road and the estate access road being steep and narrow was a little disorientating for those with light stomachs but once you reach the main reception you have truly reached ‘paradise’. Regular resort shuttles take all guests around the resort and the butler service used to accommodate movements forth and back from guest rooms built into the hillside were quick and easily available when needed. Food options were many and of very high quality. All in all a resort that caters admirably for any traveller type and one to return to time and time again.
Cons: Very hilly location but in turn this is where the natural beauty lies, would be a nightmare without the 24/7 shuttle service. Unfortunately too many noisy and abrasive Americans at times could overwhelm the otherwise tranquil environment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The only place to stay, no question, we have been to island before, but this is the best for everything. I’d waste your time to add more, as I could share a arms length of stories, but the others are just not sugar beach. We have been to 3 of the other top $$$$ Resorts here, SB is top. (Also, Gus & Swamed are the 2 rockstar butlers you want helping you out with your villa.)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Sugar Beach has the best of both worlds! Great location with a pool and beach within walking distance and the other.......AC!!!!!!!! Yes with all the luxury you lay out in the sun, explore all of Saint Lucia, and cool down in the comfort of your own room. Seems logical that a resort would and should have it, but not all resorts are the same. If you book you must request Makalia as your assistant!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views, room was great, staff fantastic and very decent breakfast. Complementary water sports is a nice touch. Near all the attractions in Soufriere.
Cons: Food and drinks prices are too high even for a luxury resort. 13 USD for a bottle of water is a bit rich. Spa location is great and but the treatment left a lot to be desired - pricey and did not last the full advertised duration.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful villas. Great pool. Beautiful beach
Cons: Lunch service in bayside a bit slow
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is in a stunning location and is truly one of a kind. Set into a hill, you need shuttles to get around but the hotel is very efficient with getting people around so not in any way a problem. Food is generally very, very good. The Great Room was exquisite. The Rainforest Spa was amazing. A must for anyone that goes to the hotel. The beaches were incredible too, particularly Pier beach where literally no one went. It was private most of the time.
Cons: St Lucia is like a giant rainforest / jungle so there are a lot of bugs. The room didn’t always keep them out. The service varies depending on whether you’re in the main part of the hotel or down by the beach / pool where everything is little more relaxed - not 5 star in that area in my opinion. You don’t really have a “butler”. It’s more of a personal assistant who you call up to book activities, get shuttles etc. There isn’t someone waiting on you hand and foot which I perhaps naively expected. Really wasn’t much of a negative though to be honest. We had breakfast included but I thought some of the activities and extra meals were very expensive. A salad for $38 is slightly insane, while a buffet bbq for $90 isn’t great either. I felt the hotel could have not been so money-grabby with those kinds of things.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms the butler service the staff was amazing the views of the pitons everything ! Best honeymoon ever highly recommend Also used supper dave their car service for our tours all personal and vip highly recommend
Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: Sugar Beach is great, if a little on the expensive side.
Cons: Found a garden slug in my salad. Only the dish in question was removed from my bill and one drink offered. I think the customer service could be improved. Several of the staff are very friendly and helpful particularly the drivers but others in the restaurants do not seem to be properly trained. I received paper cups for coffee at a 5 star hotel!! Not acceptable really. I was there 2 years ago and had a much better service.
Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa - Vieux Fort - Bedroom
7
8.8 Excellent (902 reviews)

Overview Reviews
Nestled on the beach, this Vieux Fort property is within a 15-minute walk of Windward Islands, Sandy Beach, and Maria Islands Nature Reserve. Mankote Mangrove and Savannes Bay Nature Reserve are also within 3 mi (5 km).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: True all inclusive with free activities including snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle-boarding Food was excellent and varied weather was perfect staff was exemplary
Cons: Feeling of being trapped at the resort Few shopping opportunities Very expensive excursion opportunities and few options to go outiside of resort sponsored excursions
9.7 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I went to Coconut Bay for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. We really liked that the resort had adults only and family sections: if you want peace and quiet, you can relax on the Harmony side, and if you want more activity, you can head to the Splash side where there are water sports, water slides, and the lazy river. The food was very delicious, and the staff members were super friendly! They also did a good job of keeping the rooms tidy and stocked. It is also very conveniently located near the airport.
Cons: Since it is on the Atlantic side, there is a constant wind (which at least keeps you from getting too hot) and the water is very wavy and not as clear as it is on the other side of the island. However it is still beautiful! We also felt that the excursions offered by the resort were pricey, so we went through a local business for our island adventures.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff. Very attentive. Everyone we encounter was friendly and helpful. The meals were very good. The resort is about five minutes from the airport and the hotel gave several members of our group complimentary late checkout times so that we could enjoy ourselves more on our final day. Excellent guest services to help set up excursions or to assist you in planning activities. Excellent pools and bars. Lots of evening activities.
Cons: The resort is on the Atlantic side of the island do the beach isn't what you normally think of on a Caribbean island. I was told the better beaches are on the opposite side of the island where the majority of resorts are located. So if you are looking to lay on a sandy beach I would not recommend this resort. But there are nice loungers looking at over the ocean with a nice breeze. And the view over the water is beautiful with a couple hilly islands.

Pros: Everything was good But I am disappointed with the price! They took £119.82 deposit + £363.83 ? And I had nothing extra.... Please look into this Many thanks DD Vincent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good, good variety available. Great reception and customer service received from Omowale. Award winning... Environmental friendly place to stay! Lovely room, very clean and well equipped. The best location to explore the South of the Island. We booked to visit the sulphur springs, Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens... We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Lyton, lovely and friendly, who cares deeply for the environment. Loved the idea of this beautiful place being owned and managed by St Lucians. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a secluded setting, this is it !! Great for couples!! Shuttle service to the beach also available, the restaurant food was excellent, some local favourites! In the words of Arnie...I'll be back (we will be back) !!
6.8 Good
Pros: The employees were lovely.
Cons: The shower drain did not drain properly as it was clogged. After the clog was fixed, it drained very slowly. The toilet bowl leaked. The pools had dead bugs floating on top of the water.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good. The grounds are stunning, but the resort itself is isolated so going into town isn't really an option. Reception staff very friendly.
Cons: Our room had visible damage and several outlets did not work. The listing on booking.com says they offer an airport shuttle, which in fact is just them calling a taxi for you. The on-site restaurant was mediocre and tremendously expensive. Beach shuttle times are a little inconvenient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the private, peaceful and secludedness to the property. It really did give us a romantic, restful two nights. The sounds of the insects brought back childhood memories, and walking through nature was a delight.
Cons: No complaints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was superb., amazing scenery, outstanding staff and customer service, fabulous food, lovely pools, peaceful, beautiful, friendly welcoming loved every second of our stay amazing resort
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like whole place is perfect
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious and comes with an outdoor shower which was great. There’s also a free shuttle bus to Sugar beach each morning which was very convenient. There is also a complimentary tour of the hotel grounds which I would highly recommend. The breakfast was fantastic, very filling and came with a good selection. The staff went above and beyond to cater to my needs. Lecia, Omowale, Dora and Regina were incredible but so were all the staff too!
Cons: The pool in my cottage wasn’t in the newest of conditions but the public pool was good. Public transport is limited in the area, there is a bus service but no bus schedule so you could be waiting a long time for a bus. Taxi services are also pretty expensive in the area so I would recommend hiring a car or making sure you have some extra cash for a taxi. The hotel made it very easy to book a taxi.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Awesome large bed and private pool at my cottage. The nature environment was an awesome experience from most, especially the bath that was set amidst nature, yet modern. Sumptuous breakfast to start the day that was steeped in local products, more-so, from the property grounds!
Cons: There can be a blow dryer in-cottage for those who constantly indulging in water activities yet have little time to towel dry one’s hair. More evening entertainment can be offered on-property since the location is somewhat remote.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I Liked the service, friendly staff, good food. The location is really quiet and tranquil, and full of nature. This is a great place to relax because of the peace and quite.
Cons: I liked and enjoyed everything.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly, the property was great
Cons: Dinner menu

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely to be on a working farm combined with the stunning views. The infinity pool has to be one of the best in the world.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't amazing but that is a minor complaint. It's a slight pain that there is no option to dine in the evenings at the resort but it meant we explored amazing local restaurants instead
4.5 Okay
Cons: The setting of the La Haut Resort is very charming and the view is one of the best in Soufrière. It would be a great place to stay if there would not be so many annoying things. Generally, the breakfast is a good choice for every taste, but the way it’s served seems to be according to the teams daily mood: On the first day they put up a buffet, the second day only half of the food was self-service, the third day there was no buffet at all and we had to beg for everything. The main pool was not very clean and there was only one single (!) beach chair for all the guests. The shower was broken and could not be used. The infinity pool down the valley with the spectacular view seems to have been built for marketing reasons. Besides the 5 min walk down the hill to get to the pool, it belongs to the owner’s house and can only be used till 5 pm Monday to Friday. What a joke! There are some beach chairs at the pool, but no umbrellas at all. It's hard to find any shade here during the day when the pool is open. Our room at the main house (lowest rate) was o.k., but the bathroom was not very appealing and clean. The wardrobe in the room does not have any shelf boards and the drawers in the chest smelled bad. The key for the safe and the hairdryer you get only on request at the reception. The pool table at the restaurant has big holes in the fabric and can not be used. What a pity: The whole resort made a rather run-down impression to us.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view is spectacular and your service, and hospitality was Wonderful exceptional Thank you
Cons: No phone no TV , a bit not much to do while back in the room, phone for an Emergency
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view, nice staff.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is stunning. The breakfasts were good, fruit salad and fry up. The snack bar at night is OK Gee, who manages the restaurant, was excellent, the other staff could learn a lot from her people skills.
Cons: The welcome on arrival was a little cold, unlike the rest of the island which is so warm and hospitable. Check-in was slow as the room wasn't ready and nobody attempted to help carry a bag or two, I had elderly parents and a child with me and have a bad back, so not great. I don't get the impression staff have been treated as well as they could be here. Good service comes from the top.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, tranquil, and relaxing property. Friendly staff that were informative and helped guide local experiences. I will return!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view, staff and food.
6.8 Good
Pros: The view was incredible.
Cons: The hotel is not well taken care of. Sounds like the place is for sale. AS it was clean there were a number of items that are in need of repair. Two people on the staff were great, but the others could care less.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view of the Pitons

Cons: It was all great for the value we paid. Highly recommend!

7.5 Good
Pros: The location is great and the staff were very helpful. We loved the included breakfast. The owner was also often at the resort and she was very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Unfortunately, the pool was out of service while we were visiting which was a bummer since the beach isn’t the greatest in Soufriere. However, the owner invited us to use the pool at her home which is just across the street, so we really appreciated her generosity.
6.8 Good
Pros: We had a BILLION dollar view, pool area was very nice. We were able to walk into the heart of soufrier, to sidewalk markets, the doc, restaurants and bars.
Cons: The cottage is on the verge of needing to be condemned. The floor in the 2nd bedroom was rotten and it is only a matter of time before someone falls through. It would have been nice if the resort had a light lunch menu more reasonably priced that the menu we were shown...average meal $29USD

Pros: The grounds were beautiful and the hummingbirds plentiful. Every staff member we encountered bent over backwards to be accommodating. We absolutely loved snorkeling from the beach and exploring Hummingbird wall. The sheer wall has so much to offer. It was fascinating.
Cons: We were a little disconcerted to find the rooms were open air and the bed had mosquito netting. The bed was very comfortable. We wish the wifi was stronger and more reliable.
4.5 Okay
Pros: I came to have an overnight stay after the Midnight Groovers show. The room was clean ut extremely musty and I could not breathe because of my sinus. The AC did not function properly; the mattress was extremely hard and we could not sleep. About 3:30 am we decided that we could not spend the night so we left. Honestly we did not get value for money.
Cons: The musty smell in the room and the hard mattress. There was a constant leak in the toilet wetting up the toilet mat. There were no mats by the bedside either The cold tiles were uncomfortable
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent swimming and snorkeling (and diving) right at the beach. Easy walk into the the town of Soufriere. Warm and welcoming staff.
Cons: The range of the WiFi was very limited. You literally had to sit in the bar near the office to connect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Incredible view and location
Cons: Lack of water, especially hot water
6.8 Good
Pros: I know this hotel since 2001. Always this hotel make me happy.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Beautiful location/views. On site dive centre was great - small groups, fantastic coral.
Cons: Food service a bit slow and minibuses hooting as they passed on the road outside early in the morning.
7.0 Good
Pros: This property is in excellent location for day trips to tourist spots and walking distance to downtown Soufriere. Very unique property, hand built and one of a kind. We stayed in cottage because we had four people and it was comfortable with great view of Piton off the porch. Not a four star resort and beach is not very good, but location did it. Enjoyed it.
Cons: Open air dining room had bug problem, lots of bites on ankles after a meal. Cottage was a little past its prime, but for our purposes it was good to have our own space.
7.5 Good
Pros: Having breakfast included in the price was very helpful since there aren't many places to eat nearby. Lunch and dinner were expensive to purchase. The room was dark, and needed updating. But the view from the hotel was fantastic! Mosquitos were a big problem also. You need to bring long pants, and a long sleeve shirt to survive.
Cons: The room needs screens to protect the bugs from getting in. This way you can keep doors open in order to have light come in. The room was dark, and ugly. It needs much updating. Having an air conditioner was a great help.

7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for the airport and activities in the south. The refrigerator and microwave in the room are very convenient to have while traveling. Overall, a good place on a budget.
Cons: We chose this hotel mostly based on price, and it is a budget hotel. I booked a budget double, and the room was very small - bathroom door did not even have room to open all the way - but is what I paid for. My friend was upgraded and the superior room was quite spacious and set up well. Parking was tight and spaces were unclear. The stairways to upstairs are outside, so difficult to navigate in the rain - especially with luggage. Neither my friend or I were able to get hot water for showering in the mornings, but at night had better luck.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is excellent, and Hotel Employee is just the best
5.5 Okay
Pros: Proximity to international airport It had air conditioning Water pressure in shower was strong
Cons: Restaurant was not available as advertised - had to go elsewhere to eat No coffee or tea available - sparse is the best description Bed was squashed against window - so one person in the couple had to crawl over the other to use the bathroom Bed very hard and uncomfortable Facilities old and unkept
6.3 Good
Pros: Very convenient for a late night arrival at the airport, which is only 10 minutes away by taxi. Met at the airport by a taxi driver with a sign. OK for a brief overnight stay.
Cons: Very basic accommodations in quite poor condition. Booked a two bedroom apartment but was changed to two separate bedrooms, which was not what we wanted. Had problems with their credit card machine which they blamed on my card, but turned out to be their machine which did eventually work, but I would not have been happy not to use my FX card.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner was lovely & also the staff were very nice. The dining room was closed but they brought a lovely meal in for us. We would recommend this place to everyone & it is only about 10 minuets from the airport in St Lucia.
7.5 Good
Pros: I chose it because it was near the airport. I had a problem with my card in the ATM at the airport, and the hotel staff couldn't have been nicer in helping me deal with this. They were so very kind, patient and helpful. Also, the breakfast was good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, tidy and just up the road from the airport and beach
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional friendly service and owner - great quality and comfort for the price
Cons: hmm... maybe far from the beach- but this is an ''close-to-the-airport'' location- so that was important
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I was in one of the apartments and it was a very nice size. It had one bedroom with a king bed in the back, a large bath with walk in shower, an area to iron your clothes, a full kitchen with microwave, another queen size bed, and a living room area with television. The owner was also present and comped me dinner when the previous night’s food was not up to par. Shaheeda (not the first chef)prepared a great traditional meal for me for lunch. Ask for her!!
Cons: The place does not have central air. It has One AC unit in the back bedroom window so it was really hot in there. I asked for a fan and they a accommodated me with no problem. The staff -Tracy at the front desk- was super friendly and helpful.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bathroom was clean. The bed was actually comfortable considering our King bed was 2 full size beds pushed together. We arrived around 9pm and no dinner option but Dominos was quick to deliver. The checkin process was quick and easy and the front desk clerks very friendly and ready to assist. The room did come with mini fridge/microwave/iron and board. And close to UVF airport
Cons: The property is not close to anything we read in other reviews. We walked about 3 miles before realizing we were not going to find anything to eat. There is no beach access unless you take a taxi into Fort Vieux about a 20 min ride. The town had a KFC and Dominos but very limited on everything else. The room was very small with a 19 inch monitor for a TV. The restaurant was closed due to maintenance but would cook you a breakfast for 12.00 a person You do get what you pay for
6.8 Good
Pros: Great location near airport. Friendly staff.
Cons: Needs better doors to keep mosquitoes out.
7.0 Good
Pros: Close to the airport. We got in on a late flight and knew our resort was booked so thought we'd stay here and take a cab the next day. In a safe area. Staff friendly over all. They will NOT have change so bring the exact amount you need. Breakfast there was worth it too. Bed was comfy. Nice balcony.
Cons: Not luxury by any means. We knew it would be an average place. Bathroom was pretty rough. Shower water very slow flow and not a lot of hot water. Toilet had aging stains. Floor of shower looked very aged and made me wear flip flops to shower. In the middle of a neighborhood so rooster start crowing pretty early and curtains do not block any light out.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic - gorgeous views of the sunset over the sea from our balcony. Parking and somewhere to eat nearby.
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff are very helpful; the rooms are large and very clean; the ac worked well which was key at this point of my trip; the location was in central Soufriere. I had an overnight on St. Lucia and needed to go from one airport to the other. This was a beautiful part of the island.
Cons: The location means you will be followed by panhandlers, sometime for blocks. The hotel is located on the third floor of a building requiring you to climb stairs to get to the lobby. If you've a lot of luggage this may be difficult. The rooms are a bit rough around the edges but generally ok. The road to get to Soufriere is winding and slow. It was an 1 1/2 hours from the airport in the north and about 1 hour to the airport in the south. The total taxi charge for the two rides was $180 (a bit higher than suggested in guide books).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed very comfortable, excellent location, love local markets near by, restaurants and shopping just down stairs bus transportation just down stairs, beautiful view, beach 5 minutes walk and walk to Diamond Falls. All staff are super helpful and approachable:), good AC. Lively area, Happy stay. Thank you so much. I will come back definitely:)
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great room with balcony overlooking the harbour. Staff really helpful
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Staff was phenomenal when it came to helping out with whatever we needed. Starting from extra towels to guiding with getting to and from the local tourism spots, they helped us with everything.
Cons: I didn't like that hotel didn't have any kitchen accessible to the guests, given the setup of the hotel, having access to a common cooking area would be an perk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We felt safe ,security effective and discreet.lovely view from the balcony.very central. Exceptional food cart close by.
Cons: There was nothing negative, all just what you would expect in a local village
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property was great all around
Cons: N/A
7.5 Good
Pros: Bright rooms with sea view. Staff pleasant. Room cleaned daily.
Cons: Shower fittings looked a bit shabby although they worked perfectly ok. Property facilities show that there is free on street parking, however during the daytime it is difficult to find an available space outside the hotel. On a couple of occasions I parked quite some distance away.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very large room with comfortable bed. Good to have a fridge and kettle. Excellent staff. Requests were sorted promptly.
Cons: Occasional interruptions to the water supply. However these were sorted almost immediately. Don't know why the water was intermittent.
7.5 Good
Pros: The spacious room and the balcony , the view of the sea and Petit Piton and the helpful staff
Cons: Our only concern was the smell of drains in the bathroom
5.0 Okay
Pros: The wifi was very inconsistent which was a huge inconvenience. But the staff was really nice
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Not much old hotel under construction and very loud
Cons: Located in not safe area of st lucia be aware place is terrible generally terrible

2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Room was filthy and in complete disrepair. AC did not work at all. Hot water not working. Shower filled with what appeared to be black mold. Staff entirely unresponsive, just didn't care at all. Screens had many holes so insects continually in the room. Amazingly this was all for their higher category room. Scary to think what the other rooms must be like. We never write reviews, but felt obligated to warn people about this place -- worst hotel we've stayed at anywhere and we travel very frequently and expected nothing more than a reasonably clean room, working AC and a somewhat friendly staff. Positive reviews are why we tried this hotel, and we are beyond puzzled as to how anyone would give them more than one star.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice remote location looking across the valley; joined the owners for excellent dinner, big rooms
Cons: Note that the property has US electric sockets, unlike most of the island that uses UK ones
6.8 Good
Pros: We were looking forward to this remote stay in the rainforest and we had a great time. However, we needed to rely on the local taxi service to get about although of course there were bush hikes to be had if wanted. I guess a lot of people will come here for that. We were kindly cooked a dinner by Darren on arrival as there was nowhere nearby to get any food so self catering is an absolute must. There is a large kitchen with facilities for preparing meals, a huge fridge and cooker and all the pots and pans you could want. Could get a bit crowded at peak times! Use of the kitchen was charged for however and in our experience, this is unusual. View out the back was superb, miles and miles of lush rainforest. If the glass doors are left open in the rooms then a nice breeze will blow through. The large rooms are well protected against the dreaded mozzies.
Cons: Some of the toilets in the rooms were a bit tired and need a bit of work and could have been a bit cleaner. The air conditioning was useless but there was a great big fan whizzing round which was fine for us. It was a surprise to have to pay for the use of the kitchen.
