This is a family hotel with the rules they fullfill. I cant' say it is cosy and has a home atmosphere. It is located at the second line beach nearly 200-300 metres from the sea. On the whole I would say that it is not a value for money. There are plenty of hotels there with the same room rate where you can find a private beach, better breakfast and swimming pools.
The shared balcony with your neibours.
It was excellent! We were a group of 8 and spent 1 week in this hotel end of August 2010. Some had half-board. When reserving I was very much afraid that food will not be tasty or enough. But it was exactly the opposite! 3 first and 3 second courses to choose from, +salad bar, + sweets/fruits. All this accompanied by water and wine. All the best of Italian dishes - including seafood - and all tasted very good. Pizza was one of the best in town. Rooms were big enough, clean and kept clean during our stay. Hotel staff is absolutely fantastic! Always smiling and doing everything to make us even more happy. They all speak English and even have a girl for Russian. We will definitely stay in the same hotel next year.
Frendly hotel staff.
Breakfast maybe will be improved.
Good location, very friendly staff (special thanks to Simonetta), the breakfast was rather meager but the best comparing to 3-star hotels in Milano and Sirmione, the room are more spacious than usually in Italian 3-star hotels and have been recently renovated. In general, I would evaluate the hotel as a 3-star plus one according to Italian standards.
Free internet access from the reception hall only, if you want to connect from your room you need pay extra. Old TVs, very short list of available tv programs - all in Italian. Unvaried breakfast but it is usual all over Italy.
Site of hotel, the polite and close personnel
Has not liked coffee for a breakfast (in coffee-machine)
The Manager and other senior staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful at all times. Meals were good value and good quality and a fruit platter was a menu item. Breakfasts were included in cost and included cereals and a range of other food. The ambience of the dining room, with its tables, banquettes, and option of opening onto the pleasant streetscape, was excellent. The Hotel is close to the patrolled beach (3 minutes walk), and a booking brings with it a personal beach umbrella, sun lounge and deckchair permanently set up at the beach. Our room had a balcony with 2 chairs and a view, past other buildings, of the sea. The street is blocked to traffic from 8pm till 6 am and this allows for a lovely strolling atmosphere, with access to shops, restaurants, and supermarket.
Trying to be critical, we can only say that we would prefer to have a curtain around the shower area to prevent a wet floor in the bathroom. It had nothing, but this did not actually cause a problem.
The people running the hotel are extremely nice and helpfull, making our stay both comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are simple but comfortable, clean and fine.
Clean room, very nice and helpful staff.
The shower was not separated by the rest of the bathroom (not even by a curtain) and the pillows were pretty uncomfortable.
Very helpful and charming staff.
Breakfast: not enough food and only salami and swiss cheese
