Very comfy and quaint German hotel. The hotel was well kept and clean. Room was larger than expected; our room had a small sitting area, bedroom and bathroom with a bathtub. Staff was very friendly/helpful and spoke very good English which is important considering our German is limited. Plenty of parking available and located near shops and restaurants well within walking distance. Food was good and convenient since we only needed to walk downstairs to eat. Located about 15-20 mins from where we needed to be. The best part is that they accept dogs.
It was cute for the price and nice to have the restaurant downstairs. They had nice new board games for use which was sweet...
Well, budget hotel beds are not comfortable for me and German twin blankets are too small (it’s like a child blanket width-wise) but may be it’s my own problem :)
Rooms were bigger than expexted
Accommodation was spacious (we booked adouble room - a bedroom and a sitting room with a sofa), with a balcony overlooking the main street and a church, very picturesque view over nearby hills. Two TV's - one in the bedroom, one in the sitting room. Also spacious bathroom with a full-size bath. Hot water turned on instantly. The restaurant on the ground floor offered daily local specialties (by season) - mushrooms in particular, just delicious, as well as the rest of their menu (we had lunch and dinner there daily). Breakfast was traditional and Continental, with eggs made by request (cooked, roasted or scrambled). Hotel stuff speaks decent English - as guests, we enjoyed a kind, friendly and courteous attitude of all staffers. Our mini-dachshund was welcomed and felt completely peaceful at the hotel. The hotel is impeccably clean. Throughout our stay we observed more than a few of our fellow Americans checking in to this hotel. Some of them were repeated customers, who apparently enjoyed combination of high-quality service and local ambiance. Overall, the place is very quiet and the clock on the church bellfry doesn't chime between 10 pm and 6 am. We loved the place and would stay there again by all means.
Nothing we can think of.
Very quite and comfortable hotel.
