Great staff, very accommodating. Quiet, clean. Comfortable beds. Able to adjust temperature in room. Restaurant was superb and easy to access!
Lighting in room not conducive to reading.
Was a very nice place.
This was another hotel we actually have stayed in a few times. I didn't ask if it's new owners...But it's a new name, and I was told the Name changed Nov 2017. We were OVERJOYED because we've stayed here all times (except one) it was FULL ;( lol So it's our go to hotel*!! This was an impromptu trek, as most of ours are, because of our work schedules, and being only 4 hours away, it's a great trek for a few days! Beds are so comfy as well as the duvet, pillows. If you love cable tv..there's plenty of CA/USA programs for those who care. The bathrooms are clean, updated. The wifi...could be alot better, they need an upgrade. But we didn't stay at the hotel 24/7 so it was okay for us. Extra blankets if needed. Private where they placed us in the back near the bistro area=we loved it! We're planning on another trek shortly..maybe this weekend...and it will be here. It's close to everything, yet far enough..quiet, peaceful. We love it here! Ty!
Everything is excellent!
This was a fine little hotel, we stayed two nights. There was no check in desk per se, we walked right into the restaurant and they gave us a key. We had drinks and ate our morning snack on the mini terrace outside our room. We had the room next to the restaurant and appreciated that even thought the it seemed pretty busy on Friday and Saturday night, we could not hear anything from inside our room and we slept well in the comfortable beds. Next time we will plan to have dinner there too, as it seems like gourmet cooking and has a good reputation from the locals. There was no staff around at check out and I had to call to different numbers to confirm if I lock the key in the room at check out.
Super location (very close to Magog). Nice patio with tables and chairs to seat outside. Room was big. Beds were comfortable. There was a lot of "drawer" space. Big parking area for guests. "Green" area at the back. Fire pit with seats around it to be used by guests.
Room was not very clean. Wifi did not work. TV did not work, either. There was nobody around to ask for help during the day (only in the evening when the restaurant was open).
With a stay at Comme Chez Soi Restaurant & Auberge in Magog, you'll be in a regional park, steps from Mont-Orford National Park and a 4-minute drive from Mont Orford Ski Area. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
