Top tips for finding the perfect Copenhagen hotel

If you’re looking to have a memorable experience, stay in one of the trendy boutique hotels Copenhagen is known for. They’re emerging all over Copenhagen and are usually good value for money. The Andersen Boutique Hotel is a unique option that is conveniently located beside the Tivoli Gardens.
Since taxis can be expensive in Copenhagen, try booking a hotel that offers an airport shuttle service and is close to a Metro station. The Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers offers the service and is located near Orestad station for ease of transport in the city.
If you want to be within walking distance of the main attractions, book a hotel in the city center. The city center is a lively area full of bright-colored houses, restaurants and museums. The Tivoli Hotel and Congress Center is a reasonably priced choice that offers a pool and sauna.
To explore Copenhagen by bike, the city’s local bike share program, called Bycyklen, is affordable and easy to use. Booking a hotel near one of the bike-share docking stations, such as the Phoenix Hotel, will allow you to easily explore the city and travel from the city center to other neighborhoods.
Hoping to save as much money on your trip to Copenhagen as possible? Consider booking a budget hotel. Some budget hotels, such as the City Hotel Nebo within walking distance of the National Museum of Denmark, offer economy rooms with shared bathrooms at very reasonable prices.

C$ 414
8.7 Excellent (2,078 reviews)
Pro " Lovely decor, great location and a generally nice place to stay with friendly staff "
Con " For some very strange reason, this hotel gets the common areas of the building cleaned at night time when all the guests are trying to sleep, not during the day when all the guests are out (or at least awake)! Of the 4 nights we stayed here, we were woken up every night, twice because a cleaner was mopping the floor outside our bedroom door at 3.30am, and the other two times because someone was dragging huge rubbish bins over the cobblestones in the courtyard at 4.30am. It was very u fortunate because everything about this hotel was lovely, but not being able to sleep through the night really spoilt the relaxing vibe the hotel aims for. "

8.7 Excellent (1,314 reviews)
Pro " Good location, lovely facilities. Great individual staff members. "
Con " Not enough staff. Queued for 20 minutes to check in. Dinner took forever with only one overworked ( very good) waiter in the Brasserie. No one at reception for checkout. "
C$ 323
8.6 Excellent (7,942 reviews)
Pro " The location was perfect and so ideal to see so many sights. Love the restaurants along the canal. The Breakfast Buffet was very good and staff was very attentive. "
Con " The room with the loft was a little awkward getting up and down the stairs. We figured out how to open the windows but wish they were bigger downstairs so we could enjoy the view. The phone downstairs didn't work and there was a lot of work going on in the hallway one day. Workers and stuff everywhere. Wish the lobby felt a little cozier. A big fireplace would do the trick. The room and hotel seemed too expensive for what we got. "
C$ 371
8.6 Excellent (2,886 reviews)
Pro " Located Right next door to the royal arena - perfect for gigs "
Con " Ridiculous bar - far too small when a gig is on - after the gig the queues were 4 deep! "
C$ 251
8.6 Excellent (2,371 reviews)
Pro " WE ENJOYED A LATE LUNCH/EARLY DINNER IN THE GARDEN AREA OF THE HOTEL - VERY LOVELY - CUCUMBER SOUP WAS DELICIOUS!! LOVE THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL AND THE SUPER SIZED BATH TOWELS AND ECO FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE "
Con " WE DIDN'T HAVE BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL - TOO EXPENSIVE - WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED A BREAKFAST OPTION THAT WAS MORE REASONABLE - = THE SAFE WAS BASICALLY ON THE FLOOR - IT SHOULD BE PLACED ON A SHELF TO MAKE IT MORE ACCESSIBLE "
C$ 240
8.6 Excellent (1,407 reviews)
Pro " No review available "
Con " Arrogant staff, room was very small, interior: questionable if antique or just old (chair had two holes, bath room looked used), windows in our room did not really keep away any noise from the main street "

Pro " I loved that Cabinn City was so close to the railway station. (Getting the right train from the airport was a bit tricky, but all problems were solved once I found a Station attendant.) The Old City is also very accessible from the Hotel, within easy walking distance. The room was compact but very well designed, the same for the bathroom. The breakfast provided was excellent, again, the design and layout of the food area worked so well for the large number of people it was serving, and the dining space was very comfortable. The Staff were very helpful, no matter what crazy question we asked! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "
Con " Can't think of anything I didn't like. "
