However it's a nice place overall. Beds are comfortable and wide, bedsheets are ok. Every bed has a curtain, which is very nice. Everything is pretty clean. Despite that showers are not the best there are many of them. Big lockers, but don't forget your own lock. Super great location that can compensate all the inconveniences. Cosy yard. On the whole it's a very nice place for its price.
Someone who was putting the beds together didn't imagine himself climbing to the second level, I'm sure there are people who just cannot do it. It's almost requires some acrobatic skills. Sockets in the 6-beds dorms are only on the floor under the bed. Shower is an unruly fountain, you will think a couple of times to decide if you really want to take it.

The value for the price is very good. Anything can be reached in minutes from there.
I did not like the staff could not recognise on my second day once I was arriving back from the city. I had to prove I am actually staying there. I was quite tired, I could not find the email, it was embarrassing situation.

This is more like sleeping at a friends house then staying at a hostel, the interior is an amazing mix of old school cool and danish design, and the location is right in the heart of Copenhagen. Good bar, great price for people staying, great coffee, and a manager that knows how to handle even the worst of guests with calm and professional though for the other guests. If nothing else, stay here for a few days, to fully enjoy Nyhavn, and stay in a building from the 1700.

Great vibe and lovely people here. The bar with good beers for reasonable prices makes the hostel great. The location is amazing. One step away from the city centre.
