Pros: I loved the location, which is perfect for many good restaurants and bars along with the extensive luxury shopping theat CPH has to offer.
Cons: My original superior single room was far from superior. Couldn't swing a cat in the room and the wet room, not bathroom or shower room, was really tired. Fortunately the extremely helpful staff were able to transfer me to a better, larger room. Overall I think the whole hotel needs a seriousl amount of money spent on updating the rooms.

Cons: When we arrived after an overnight flight, feeling very tired, the hotel computer was down and we had to wait for a coup[e of hours in the lobby for it to be fixed.
The hotel should have made some sort of small gesture to compensate us for this.
Also the breakfast included thawed frozen fruit which had turned rancid one day. The next hotel in Bergen had FRESH fruit. like melon, cantaloupe and kiwi. was was cut up and delicious.

Cons: They gave us a twin bed although we are a couple. No slippers, no bathrobe, and very few bathroom supplies (no cotton swabs, no cotton discs, just your basic shower cap, shampoo and lotion). Inconvenient bathtub/shower arrangement, but they never are convenient in hotels for some reason. The restaurant the consierge recommended was not very good.

Cons: The hallways to the rooms sort of ruin the "luxury" impression of the hotel. The thick walls of the original structure run right through them, so they're difficult to navigate and closed in. I think some people would like the mystique of it, so depends on your view of that sort of thing.

Cons: Do not actually complain, but... The walls between the rooms seems to be quite thin, so we were very happy that we didn't have loud neighbours. And the breakfast buffet was somewhat plain for a hotel in the four-star category - sufficient though.

Cons: Yes, The provision of wireless internet access. Wireless was only available in blocks of two hours which was very inconvenient. If only needed for 15 mins, two hours had to be paid for - and it was very expensive. Normally I will not stay at an Hotel that charges for internet access as a matter of principle - it should be provided as a matter of course - like TV. I don't pay if I watch the TV set in my room. I made my view known at the reception desk but did not fill in the guest questionaiire, which was an inadequate small form.

Cons: We booked a 'small' double room. I have a light sleep so I personally prefer when the actual bedroom is 'isolated' from the corridor with a little entrance rather that having just a door separating your bed from the outside. Given the general high standards of the hotel, I was expecting the room to be a bit bigger and more isolated. Anyway I wasn't really disturbed while sleeping so I found it still a very comfortable room. Maybe the carpet on the hallway did the trick and probably the hotel guests were very respectful too ;) Finally: don't use the bar as a fridge to store your own food. An electronic system will detect you're messing around so it's advisable you read the instructions upfront or that you ask information at the recepti

Cons: the so called superior double room is situated on the 4th ! floor without an elevator! it is just after the construction so it's absolutely unacceptable because of the smell of construction materials .I refused to stay in such room,they offered me another one saying it is the ordinary( not superior).There were so small windows that there was very stuffy there.Some strange staircase lead from the roof directly to the window! and when I was checking out next morning the reception stuff (the other one) claimed that it was also SUPERIOR room!

Cons: We did not have the right room, but were moved to a room that resembled the one I booked. In the morning there was no water. No cold water, no hot water - no water. We were told we could shower in another room and given a key. Luckily, the water was restored, but only after hours of waiting. Do not stay here until all the construction is finished.

The staff totally met my ideas of people who work at a 5 star hotel. Even the room service was always punctual. Then the mattresses were very good and their balkony excellent!

Cons: Rooms for a hotel in this category are a bit spartan. The hotel is showing some wear and tear. Biggest problem was the noise. It was late September and the weather was not hot, not cold. The hotel had turned on the heat, despite my trying to turn it off. The heat was considerable. I opened the windows to get fresh air and keep the room bearable, but the street noise (all night) was incredibly loud. The hotel is right next to the University, so it was not a surprise as students come home from the bars (until 6am), but it led to a night of little sleep.

Cons: The room I got in the beginning was not clean. Then there was very little space to hang up your clothes and only 1 chair to sit comfortably in a medium room which should suit 2 persons well. The medium room was actually much smaller than I had expected or was at least not comfortable to go around in. Then there was only space for one suitcase in storage space and the other suitcase just had to stand on the middle of the floor. They emphasize design but then you could hardly wash your hands in the bathroom sink because the faucet was too short. But these complaints are small in comparison of how welcome you felt at the hotel.

Cons: We did not like that the rooms were way too small. The rooms portrayed online and through the websites make the rooms appear bigger than they are. It was hard for my wife and I to move around and we only had backpacks with us.
The bathroom was another story and we hated it. The bathroom floor is literally one floor where you stand on which you shower, go bathroom, and use the mirror. The toilet holder was barely holding onto the wall and fell off a couple times and the towel holders were in the same condition.

When requested a different room with a more decent view, received the same response of having no other room in the same category and requested higher price for a different room. My reservation was not cheap, and i don't think is fair to be in an unpleasant room when the hotel has available capacity to make its guests´stay pleasant.

Pros: Location location location. By far the best part. Complimentary breakfast was very good. It's more than just cereal and hard-boiled eggs. you get a range of meats, eggs, a good coffee machine, fruits, yogurt, etc. Very nice. Super friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Rooms are incredibly small. I guess this is normal for Copenhagen, but still. I had to get a "Double" bed room after the Singles were sold out, paying a decent amount more, and was surprised at how small the room was (can't imagine what a single would be like). Walls are then (but it is an old building) so you hear everything from your neighbor, as well as screams from Trivoli Gardens, as well as the nearby bell tower (kind of nice actually). In my opinion, not a good value for the money.

Cons: No air conditioning, church bells till midnight, small room. Our friends didn't get breakfast with the room and they paid as much as we did. When I booked it was not an option. Breakfast is expensive if you have to add it.
The room is furnished in Danish modern. You have to side step between the bed and the wall.

Cons: The rooms (especially the single rooms) are rather small and hence inconvenient for a stay of more than 2 or 3 days.

Cons: Room quite basic, but clean and relatively quiet. The elevator was only half-reliable and stopped a few times between floors. The keycards for the room were a bit tricky also for the elevator you had to try the key several times to make it work. I stayed one night and changed for a new keycard once, but it did not help much.The room was only available with an evening buffee which I did not really need as I had other plans - the "free" buffee seemed okey though, popular and crowded.

Pros: The facilities such as free evening buffet and free coffee & Tea all day are very much appreciated as also the fact that Wifi is free of charge in the hotel. Very convenient central location, nice to go out and explore without having to take a taxi or public transport.
Cons: Despite having booked a double room for single-use, I was clearly given a single room, which is fine for just one night, but a bit cramped for a longer stay. The rooms are fashionably furbished but the depth of the cupboard isn't sufficient; one can't lay a shirt on the plank not in the length and not even in the width.

Cons: The proximity of the church bells... every hour, quarter hour, and half hour -at least we knew what time it was! Fortunately it stopped at midnight and re started at 8am. Pity for us we were staying here to lounge in bed all day and sleep/relax after a very long work period with no breaks. Also, there was no room service available, which didn't bode well with our plans of being super lazy. If you were here to sight see and do normal tourist things then it was fine. The hinges on the bathroom door are extremely noisy/squeeky/grinding, the guy at the desk said yes they were aware of the problem but there was nothing that they could do... so we wedged the door open with my shoes.

Pros: We were told that if we waited from noon till three we could get a room with a better view (from a higher floor). We got a room on the 10th floor--view was very good. The room was by far the smallest we had in Helsinki, Ivako, Bergen & Oslo. For two there was only one chair. It seemed to be a single which was turned into a double.

Cons: I have stayed at this same hotel several times, but it seems, that they have divided the regular room into two, it was really small for 2 persons. Extremely small room for this price. We were offered an upgrade at arrival, to a normal room for more than 200 DKK extra per night. Breakfast used to be simply amazing, but this time the scrambled eggs were under-cooked, once they had 4 kinds of herring, now they only offered one kind, they used to serve salmon, but not any longer. If you stayed till the end of breakfast time, we were kindly asked to move to the reception area with our coffee. No coffee or tea facilities in the room. No refrigerator in the room. Barely place to unpack, especially not for 2 persons. Only one chair at the table in the room. We had to leave for our flight at 6.30 am, when they started to serve breakfast, so we asked not to pay for breakfast that morning. Not possible. We could get a small box with food. When told that it contained cheese and meat, which I don't eat, I was offered a vegetarian version, which I chose. In the box that I got was: Cheese, meat and yogurt. When I remarked on this, I was told that it did not state on the note, that I had asked for a vegetarian version (it was the reception who had filled out the form, after I had told them what I could and could not eat...) As for parking space - 8 spots for the whole hotel, and outside the hotel it costs from 210 DKK and up pr night, depending upon where you park. Better to use public transportation, if you don't need to go far.

Cons: We arrived at 4pm in the afternoon, and the room was not ready available for us! We had to wait while the housekeeping staff to the room. However there was mould in the bathroom and the shower fittings where old and lower grade. The staff uniforms in the Breakfast room where old and ill fitting. We had problems with the parking ticket not working.
