Cons: We were woken up at 6.30am by somebody stacking glasses/cups in the corridor outside the room. The cleaning staff accidentally broke a medicinal product and left a note but this was not mentioned when we checked out.

Cons: The smell of house cleaning products didn't work for us. The closed windows did cut street noise very well but then there was a lack of fresh air. Bathtub (small) could use a grab bar. location is in transition. Sex shops across the street but a short walk away are great restaurants and design shopping.

Pros: It’s very comfortable and a little bit quirky. We had a suite at the top of the hotel with 3 odd port hole windows. The cosy hour in the afternoon where you get a free glass of wine is a great idea. There’s a baby grand piano and one night a woman played for about half an hour and it was lovely.

Pros: Location was great, in a nice part of the city with tourist attractions such as Rosenberg Palace, the National Art gallery, Botanical gardens Old Town and the Round Tower (great views) within walking distance. Staff were very friendly, happy hour at 5-6pm was great, very good atmosphere downstairs where there was a cosy lounge to relax and have a drink in. Rooms were small but really cosy and well furnished. Would definitely recommend!

Cons: Very small room, bathroom was tiny. You could touch the walls from either side whilst in bed. The room was tired and dated, not good value for money. Will not be returning to this hotel!

Cons: We wanted a double bed and while it’s pretty usual for a double hotel room to have two singles pushed together, we had a problem with the single mattresses because they slid apart, and there were single duvets as well. We asked at reception whether we could have a room with an actual double bed and they said that there wasn’t a double bed in a standard room , but we could upgrade for 300 kr if we wanted to, which we declined. Also, we both have slightly bad backs and we found that both our backs were very achy every day as if the mattress wasn’t comfortable.

There is a sound and light display currently across the water which took a bit of getting used to. At first we thought we were listening in on performers at the opera house, then realised it was on an almost permanent loop. However, it is an imaginative and exciting piece of art. The room was cosy, beds very comfortable. Bathroom and shower facilities were lovely. Staying at this hotel feels very homely - staff are very welcoming.

Cons: Beware of the mini bar! Basically touching a bottle/snack activates the sensor and you’re charged automatically. The personnel was very helpful in clearing up the issue though.

Pros: Staff were all very nice in dealing with a poor hotel, facilities, and management. I do not fault the staff for the low quality of our stay.
Cons: We did not have the right room, but were moved to a room that resembled the one I booked. In the morning there was no water. No cold water, no hot water - no water. We were told we could shower in another room and given a key. Luckily, the water was restored, but only after hours of waiting. Do not stay here until all the construction is finished.

Cons: The optional breakfast at 195K is expensive unless you want a large breakfast. But there is a nearby bakery where you can get a good flat white and yogurt cereal for around 80K. (That is around A$20 - yes this is an expensive city!)

Pros: Great location within walking distance to Nyhavan and Metro. Decent neighbourhood with some shops and cafe around for a cup of coffee and pastries. Will probably stay there again if the price is right. Room size is good compares to other European hotel. Do ask for air-conditioned room when booking. Our room has air-conditioning but my sister’s room doesn’t. Overall, a very pleasant stay at this hotel.

Cons: Rooms for a hotel in this category are a bit spartan. The hotel is showing some wear and tear. Biggest problem was the noise. It was late September and the weather was not hot, not cold. The hotel had turned on the heat, despite my trying to turn it off. The heat was considerable. I opened the windows to get fresh air and keep the room bearable, but the street noise (all night) was incredibly loud. The hotel is right next to the University, so it was not a surprise as students come home from the bars (until 6am), but it led to a night of little sleep.

Cons: There were some minor issues with the room - previous occupant threw stuff down the drain that clogged the sink. I feel cleaning staff should have notified maintenance since it was a significant clog but the staff were incredibly responsive when I reported it. One thing that I didn't care for was the half length glass protection in the shower. I found it took too much effort to not splash water outside the tub.

There was self check in and out so we didn't communicate with any of the staff. There was a nice lounge/bar in the lobby.
Cons: Our room was a very far walk from the elevators. This was annoying when we just wanted to go downstairs really quickly or when we just came back from an exhausted day. We were only two people but we got a room of 4 beds which was fine, but the double bed (which was two single beds together) wasn't comfortable in the middle because the beds kept coming apart. So if you would like a double bed for two people make sure to ask them to turn it into a one bed (hotels have their ways). Breakfast was expensive so we didn't participate.

Cons: the hotel was not in full capacity in low season. the room given to us was all the way in the back next to the dumpster with utilities view. When requested a different room with a more decent view, received the same response of having no other room in the same category and requested higher price for a different room. My reservation was not cheap, and i don't think is fair to be in an unpleasant room when the hotel has available capacity to make its guests´stay pleasant.

Pros: I had low expectation as Copenhagen hotels are expensive and you don't get much for your money. We stayed at Square for $250/night including breakfast, wifi and taxes. Room was decent size for a European hotel. Breakfast buffet selection was sufficient. Location is central. Overall, I would stay at the hotel again.

Pros: The hotel is very nice inside, the staff was friendly and relatively quick to serve you. The hotel was located right in the center of the city, so far everything is a short walk. The hotel appeared clean, it was beautifully decorated with fall decor when we stood there. The rooms themselves were clean with no odors or anything like that. Overall the hotel was a good experience.
Cons: The hotel rooms were nice but they were a bit small. Our room faced a brick wall so there was no view, nada. When we got to the hotel at 4pm they told us that the room wasn't ready, which was annoying. Aside from that our experience at the hotel was pleasurable.

Cons: We did not like that the rooms were way too small. The rooms portrayed online and through the websites make the rooms appear bigger than they are. It was hard for my wife and I to move around and we only had backpacks with us.
The bathroom was another story and we hated it. The bathroom floor is literally one floor where you stand on which you shower, go bathroom, and use the mirror. The toilet holder was barely holding onto the wall and fell off a couple times and the towel holders were in the same condition.

Pros: So it was our first time visiting Denmark. We decided to take the train to our hotel and it didn’t take very long. We paid about $72 Kronos compared to $300 or more for their taxi. On the walk to the hotel someone stole my friends phone. So it wasn’t a good start to the trip. We got the hotel and was able to check in early, which we were grateful for. The room was small and not a lot of counter space in bathroom. We went to the breakfast the hotel provided and it was okay. Not a large selection but it was good. You can eat out if you want lots of cafes around the area. Hallways were well lit and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful when we needed it. If you stay here it’s got lots of restaurants and if you walk the inner blocks you can find lots of stores to shop. The little mermaid attraction is not walking distance but you can take the metro. It’s easily accessible. When we were leaving the airport when on strike and it took forever to leave. So make sure you check in ahead of time and go early. You don’t know what could happen.

We only had two towels in the room after each clean, and the shower gel was empty since we got there :( This might be really picky but the shower needs a good scrubbing it was mildew and dirty. Cons: I arrived after 12:00 and was told that a room at my level was not available while others were allowed to go to their rooms. I asked if I could be called or texted when it was available, I was told no, I just needed to keep coming back and asking. That is not 4-star service.
I found out later from a friend that she was told the same thing, but she told them no, I want a room now, and she was given one.
On top of that, the rooms are very small for a 4-star hotel. I won't stay there again.

Pros: Everywhere was within a small walking distance of a metro or bus, so it is a great gateway for city explorers. Our private room was very quiet and cosy and the bed was comfortable. The television didn’t work, but we were barely in the room at all so that wasn’t an issue for us, but I’m sure if we had told reception they would have sorted it out straight away. The lockers in reception to leave your stuff in are good value and worth it if you have an early/late journey. The shower room/wet room didn’t drain away that well so we had to take little breaks mid shower so it didn’t go under the door, so I would be careful of this! Overall I would definitely stay again, it is a fantastic base, and good value for money.

The staff, from check in through breakfast, bar, meal to check out, were very friendly and helpful.
The bar area was very lively, with plenty to do including various bar games and petanque.
Stayed two separate nights (around a couple of nights in Malmö).
Cons: The bunk beds are quite small, with very little head room on the lower bunk - I now have a lovely little scar on top of my head!

Cons: Room was very warm at night, given it was very cold outside it was understandable that the heat be cranked up. Just made it hard to sleep as a person that doesn't like to be hot when sleeping. Also they make you pay to store your luggage by buying a locker before check in hours.

Cons: I have stayed at this same hotel several times, but it seems, that they have divided the regular room into two, it was really small for 2 persons. Extremely small room for this price. We were offered an upgrade at arrival, to a normal room for more than 200 DKK extra per night. Breakfast used to be simply amazing, but this time the scrambled eggs were under-cooked, once they had 4 kinds of herring, now they only offered one kind, they used to serve salmon, but not any longer. If you stayed till the end of breakfast time, we were kindly asked to move to the reception area with our coffee. No coffee or tea facilities in the room. No refrigerator in the room. Barely place to unpack, especially not for 2 persons. Only one chair at the table in the room. We had to leave for our flight at 6.30 am, when they started to serve breakfast, so we asked not to pay for breakfast that morning. Not possible. We could get a small box with food. When told that it contained cheese and meat, which I don't eat, I was offered a vegetarian version, which I chose. In the box that I got was: Cheese, meat and yogurt. When I remarked on this, I was told that it did not state on the note, that I had asked for a vegetarian version (it was the reception who had filled out the form, after I had told them what I could and could not eat...) As for parking space - 8 spots for the whole hotel, and outside the hotel it costs from 210 DKK and up pr night, depending upon where you park. Better to use public transportation, if you don't need to go far.

Cons: 1.The Visible toilet/shower area in the room- hence, if you are sharing with someone then one may need to leave the room to give the other some privacy! 2. Every hour the church bells ring very loud as its near by and becomes annoying at night when you are trying to sleep but from 1am to 4am its doesn’t ring. 3. Breakfast did not have a huge selection but was ok & serving both hot/cold. However, friendly staff :)
