Friendly, good breakfast.
Everything! Lovely stay, easy to find, very good location, yummy breakfast and great service! A most wonderful can do attitude which is rarely found these days. Firstly I was offered to leave my luggage behind - in the room - and use it prior to final departure to freshen up - I participated in the UCI Schleck Gran Fondo. Ending up in hospital the owner kindly arranged for a taxi to pick up my belongings and drop them off at the hospital. Extraordinary and nothing was a problem! Wonderful, just wonderful. Can’t wait to come back to explore more of Saarland and Luxemburg. Thank you again so much for everything you did for me!
Nothing to criticize at all!
Good quiet location - just off the A8 for a stopover when crossing Europe. Lovely friendly staff. [I spoke German, but they also speak some English]. The hotel contacted me to say how I could check in if the reception desk was closed. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Honesty bar in reception for beers. [€2 / Weißbier]. Free coffee and cakes available anytime. Small courtyard outside, shared with the adjacent pizza restaurant. Perl is a nice village with a few restaurants, Baroque park and walks.
Wifi did not work very well [probably overloaded by other guests]. This was not too important because we still get mobile data included across the EU - at least until Brexit. The TV was rather old, with just a few German channels. The bed made me itch - not quite sure why.
Conveniently located on the Luxemburg border in the historical centre of Perl, the hotel is clean and well maintained, with cozy rooms, offering an excellent price-to-quality rate. Especially nice old-fashioned feature the self-service bar (clients are entrusted to leave money for what they took)
Wifi a bit slowish
The breakfest was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We got in late after the office closed and they left a key out for us and were able to let us in without someone having to be there. They also had beer and wine you could purchase at the front with glassware and bottle openers that you could use. It was a very laid back hotel and I would definitely stay there again.
Our TV remote didn’t work and the TV was very small. But that was not a big deal. We did not have time to watch tv. Everything else was great!
