Overview
The Time in Midtown Manhattan is a bit larger than the average boutique hotel, but it still retains the typical boutique vibe. In 2015, the hotel was renovated with a modern, super-chic look that appeals to many adult business and leisure travelers, and not families.
Taking pride in the chic renovations, The Time’s lobby is unlike any other with a living room feel and look. The look is appealing to the eyes and while most guests are business travelers or tourists wanting easy access to Midtown attractions, they still enjoy the update.
Located on a relatively quiet street in the Theater District, The Time is a short walk from Times Square and Central Park. The hotel is far enough from the crowds, but still within walking distance of the city's most popular attractions. Rockefeller Center, Carnegie Hall, Bryant Park, the MoMA, the New York Public Library, 15 subway lines, and countless restaurants are all just a five- to 10-minute walk away. Plus, being part of the Theater District, the hotel is within short walks of major theaters.
Accommodations at the hotel are sleek and contemporary with dark décor. Rooms begin in the Standard Full category and increase in size with Superior Queens, Superior Kings, Deluxe King Rooms and Double Double Rooms. Amenities do not differ much in room sizes. Suites feature separate bedrooms and living spaces. The Penthouse spreads over three floors and features lots of luxury amenities.

Pros (+) The room was clean and location was ideal for what we needed.
Cons (-) The a/c unit was leaking water all over the floor and the curtains for the windows didn’t work properly, a rod was on the floor. Also could have used more tissues in the tissue box
Pros (+) Paper thin walls. You hear EVERYTHING including The opening and closing of the extremely loud bathroom doors. the DJs in the downstairs club may as well have been in my bedroom. But at least I had a lovely view of the cemetery
Pros (+) I had a mix up with date for discounted reservation. Hotel was very gracious in giving me a room that night for discounted rate. I was very pleased that they did that for me.

Pros (+) I really love how professional and friendly the staff is. Everyone greets you with a smile... The room was extremely trendy and the beds were so comfortable... The bathroom was very contemporary and towels were extra soft .. You get a pair of new slippers and a nice robe.. There was a keurig coffee maker and a glass refrigerator.. The pool was nice, clean and warm .. I would definitely stay here a...

Cons (-) We specifically chose the place so we could relax in the hot tub/jacuzzi. It wasn't working and in fact that and other things were still under construction. One elevator didn't work. Restaurant seemed way too expensive. Feel like we got ripped off.
