The Cedars B&B

The Shepherd's Hut is a new addition to our B&B. Situated in our garden, a self-catering, hand-crafted hut with it's own external private decked area with table and chairs and private off road parking. The hosts Janet & David would be thrilled to have you stay at our B&B. New for 2022 is our standalone, handcrafted Shepherd's Hut. The Cedars is a 200 year old fully renovated property in the centre of the village, situated in a walled garden with plenty of private parking. Each and every one of our guests are truly valued. Our aim is to make your stay the best it could possibly be. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and work hard to create an environment which is tranquil and perfect for relaxing. All rooms have been individually decorated to the highest standard. Each room has a flat screen TV/DVD with Freeview, tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi, hair dryer and all 5 rooms have their own en-suite. There is a iron and ironing board on request. In the morning you have a choice of either eating your breakfast in the conservatory or al fresco on the decking watching our ducks roaming around the garden. (when available fresh chicken and duck eggs are on the menu and also home made jam and bread). There is a local pub in the village with a chef serving food from 11-2 and 6-9. In the village is the famous Gwennap Pit. We are only 5 minutes from the main A30 and 20 minutes from either the North or South coasts and ideal for day trips to a host of other seaside resorts such as Falmouth, Perranporth, St Ives and St Michaels Mount. It is also 8 miles from Cornwall's capital Truro with it's beautiful cathedral and unique shops, restaurants and bars. There are a number of National Trust places nearby like Trelissick, Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens and Pendennis and St Mawes castles. You could also take a boat trip up the picturesque River Fal or the Roseland Peninsula. There is Land's End, the open air cliff top Minack Theatre and Famous Eden Project. Truro and Falmouth universities 15 minutes away. After your busy day, come back with a take away and eat it in the conservatory and relax on one of the comfortable sofas in the lounge.
