Fabulous room with private bathroom perfectly located in an old Icelandic home (really cute) in the old port area of Reyjkavik. Room was very tastefully decorated and spacious with couch and coffee table. Bed supremely comfortable, although in our room it was on a mezzanine level which was rather low if bending is an issue! Parking can be found on street and free after 6pm. Breakfast was simple, but delicious and plentiful. Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Check-in was simple with clear instructions on keyless entry etc. Great restaurants and shops only minutes away. Would definitely stay there again when next in Reyjkavik.
Amazing breakfast, perfect location and super nice and friendly hosts.
Couldn't ask for a better location steps away from the heart of both Old Town, Harpa concert hall and the Marina. Adorable cozy room, felt like we were in a Harry potter old world charming attic. Easy self-check in and out.
Price-value is on the higher end of comparable hotels we stayed over 10 days in Iceland. That said, everything in the city is marked up a bit more than the rest of the country, so as long as you know that, your expectations should be more than met. Parking on street nearby was easy, just be prepared for the extra measure unloading bags and parking.
Breakfast was nice, quite basic. Hosts really nice. The house is so beautiful, wish I had house like that! Location really close to everything. We loved our stay.
A bit noisy in the morning, since we wanted to sleep long and heard loud talking and vacuuming already before 9 am. But otherwise really good stay. Would love to go back. Parking is a bit isien there since no parking area, but at nights you can park free on the streets quite nearby. You can find cheaper acommodation but theirs is average on the city prices.
