Everything! Beautiful hotel, great room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, attentive staff
Wish we could have stayed longer
Reception and managers need to learn their jobs
All food services
Floor plans complex and not safe. Basic facilities far from everything. Ground floor and lobby bathrooms are so hidden one needs a guide to find them. Many staircases have no hand rails. Cost of bottled water obscene! Drinking water is a basic necessity and should be available not priced as an expensive luxury.
Staff was not friendly nor attentive. The bed was old and had a broken spring.
Very easy walking distance to everything. Breakfast was included in our stay. Champagne was served on Sunday. Great variety of foods to select from and coffee was amazing. The view of the Grand Canal cannot be any better.
Hotel room key and safe were old world.
I stayed at the Casanova Suites which adjacent to the Bauers and for a family of four was great!! The location is just the greatest. The rooms were huge and they offered everything including 2 bathrooms!!! If you are traveling with young adults and spending time in Venice, this place is it. It was not cheap and it shouldnt be but well worth it!! Your on the main canal and yds from St Marks square. I will recomend it to my friends.
Needed more TV sets in the bedrooms.
As general is good in Bauer palace but in Casanova
Internet and telephone net were very weak Casanova side was not good to stay
Best hotel experience in Italy!

If you like the boutique looks with no essence; then you will not mind this hotel. Nothing really works and the staff don't know how to fix it. ,If you like the looks and
Location is very good.
It is a expensive hotel, the service was not very nice with the exception of concierge, that they did a great gob. The shower was leaking water so every time you use it, there was water all over the restroom, the hair dryer did not work, Just details that you take for granted at that price range hotels.
Very friendly and professional initial welcome. Helpful advice from concierge
When making our plan to visit Venice we did not know that the place is an island. The sight of water scared us at first on arrival .It became fun and visit to wonderland. The hotel met our expectation as big and reputable shops are within easy reach. we enjoyed our breakfast which provided good scenery of Venice.
Profesionalism and kindness of staff.Location on Canal Grande 2 minutes walking distance from Canal Grande;
Location and personal attention
Excellent location - 3 minutes to San Marco, good services,
spa facilities in other location (boat transportation to spa), expensive services (wireless internet - 20 Euro, restaurant dinner for two - 250 Euro)
Position is second to none. The restaurant very very good and the staff too and the food was top drawer
Our view out of the bedroom window was a flat roof with lots of dead pigeons on view. very disapointing.
hotel staff was helpful in all regards. The room, view and breakfast lounge were nice.
we had to leave :-)
The location is excellent. The Staff were very helpful and cleaning service was excellent. Food was also delicious.
Location, breakfast buffet ,view
Non smoking room had smoke odors from neighbouring rooms. Problem was solved by room change however ,thanks to helpful staff
Superb location, gorgeous terrace with fantastic view, good food and very friendly and helpful staff! Enjoyed our stay there very-very much!
only the price..... :-)))
