The bus stop is 100m around the corner and a quick bus ride in. We bought a 2 day pass and this location worked for us The room had a nice decor and the shower was a little larger and had plenty of hot water which had been an issue at some places. But otherwise an enjoyable three nights.
Breakfast could have been improved. A bit more variety maybe scrambled eggs instead of the cold boiled eggs. The pastries warmed. We did have dinner at the restaurant which was a different experience. No menu just got given different dishes and quite an expensive bill at the end. The meal was nice though just a weird experience.
This is a “small” hotel with a “BIG” heart!!, Ours was a very impromptu unplanned visit to Venice what with bungled hotel registration ( date of travel was bungled by us) and new place and of course budget!, but the staff made so much extra effort first in finding a budget accommodation for previous night and then made us have breakfast and rush to the airport following day all with such lovely support by the staff at the kitchen. Sheer joy of having stayed at Ca Nova!, the place is very cozy and very lovely to stay with a decent breakfast with a motherly touch !, the visit will remain etched in our memory, we are writing this review from Amsterdam hotel , we are sure otherwise we would have missed the flight, only because of the staff support during our stay!!
The location was good. The staff was very helpful especially Rebecca & Valentina who went out their way to help us. We enjoyed our stay very much & would definitely stay there if we visit Venice again.
The triple room was very small.
I didn't have dinner at this hotel last night. I took the pizza from outside。I was asked to pay a dinner fee of 15 euros when I check out at the next morning. I asked them to call and ask the staff last night, after the call was made, there was no results. I lost my 20 minutes and didn't get any apologies. It’s really inexplicable, and my feelings is very bad.
Really great people managing this place. They serve fish only at the restaurant for lunch and dinner. They made a quick tomato sauce to serve with me a basket of Bread. A Vegetarian problem was indeed solved!
