Service was great. Hotelshuttle to Union Station is a perfect extra service.
It was a horrible experience, after having made request for early check in,my daughter was made to wait for 6hrs after a long journey from dubai to Washington before being checked in
The facilities are beautiful, the rooms are a good size and breakfast was great!
We had some noisy guests in the evening. Unfortunatly the parking was paid, and relatively expensive. The location is a bit far from the center but they do have a free shuttle until Union Station.
Breakfast was great! Staff super friendly and helpful. Campus where hotel is located is lovely. Nice and quiet location. Room was simple but comfy and very spacious. Gym was also well-equipped for a basic workout.
Kind of a hike to public transportation. The best way is to take Gallaudet shuttle to Union Station but it stops running at 7:30pm. Wasn’t sure how safe the area is around NoMa metro station (the one that is within walking distance from hotel) so we Uber’d back in the evenings. Dinner at hotel cafe was a bit chaotic. Food took ages and was lukewarm when it arrived, and was pricey for the quality. Wouldn’t eat there again although waitstaff was very nice. Air conditioning in room was kind of loud.
Since we were there for a college visit, the location was excellent. The staff was kind and courteous and made us feel welcome. The Union Market across the street was awesome.
The first night, at 2:30 AM, we were awoken by a group of people talking very loudly outside of our room. This went on for several minutes, and I called the front desk to let them know. They said they would be right up, and it did quiet down shortly after that. However, this group of people had a block of rooms in our hallway and until 5:00 AM, they slammed doors and occasionally yelled loudly to each other. The following morning, I let management know about the continued disturbance. While this is the fault of the group of people and not the hotel, the hotel offered nothing other than an apology to make up for the disruption of sleep. Given the cost of the room, I felt they could have at the very least offered a complimentary breakfast or a discount on our stay, but they did not.
