The Eldon Luxury Suites Hotel is located in downtown Washington, D.C., just a short walk from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and the famous Ford’s Theater. Also within walking distance, guests will find plenty of local dining and cafes, as well as the International Spy Museum, Capital One Arena, and the White House. The National Mall, including all of the Smithsonian museums and monuments, is about 20 minutes away on foot. There are also two Metro stations within walking distance and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is less than 10 minutes by car.

Parking is available for a fee at this hotel, which does not allow pets. This is a smoke-free property with 50 total guest apartments and free wireless Internet throughout the hotel. All guest apartments include a sofa bed, microwave and mini-fridge, and a fully-equipped kitchen with a stovetop. Pros (+) The location is great - right next to the Convention center. We had a standard queen bed suite. Definitely used to be apartments. Bathroom had been updated and the shower was cool. A really good value for the money even though it was definitely different from your standard hotel room. Kitchen was well equipped.
Cons (-) Construction is noisy and goes on from 7a-7p. The decor isn't really updated...our suite looked like an old apartment with wood paneling on the walls. No TV in the bedroom in our suite.

Cons (-) Bedsheets were torn and stained including with blood! Were told cleaning is outsourced but they should do a better job of replacing such items. Floor tiles were sticky and could barely see the poor goldfish in the tank at the front desk their water was so cloudy. Should have taken that as a clue.

Pros (+) The Eldon Suites is a great hotel. The rooms are big and clean. The building is a 5 minute walk from the convention center, which was perfect for me as a conference exhibitor. The adjacent building was under construction the whole time, but that is only temporary and not The Eldon Suite's fault. The room was VERY well lit, which is a typical problem in hotels. The water pressure was high and deliv...
Cons (-) The blinds in my specific room didn't completely block out view of the adjacent building which was under construction. I felt like workers could look into my room. I understand that's quite common in DC, but it was a little distracting. Otherwise, I really liked my room at the Eldon Suites.
