Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location in Grasmere, the quality of the breakfast, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Many found the rooms spacious and the building charming, with beautiful gardens and period features. However, several reviews highlighted issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and amenities, such as the pool being out of service, limited meal options, and tired furnishings. Some guests also experienced noise disturbances and problems with room service or booking confusion. Overall, while the atmosphere and service were appreciated, the hotel was seen as in need of refurbishment.
