Riad Oussagou

“We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Oussagou. The staff was so nice, helpful and cheerful. Special thanks to Hassan who were soooooooooooooooo nice with us =) The food was copious and delicious. the location of the riad is perfect, not far from the imlil village. For activities, we went hiking for hours and enjoyed the nature. We surely will get back there for an other adventures.”

“Hami was very helpful during my stay and made me feel at home. Breakfast was prepared each morning and it was served beside a fire. My room had a view of the mountains and was very comfortable. I had a minor problem with my room and was upgraded without any problem. Hami organised a guide for a 3 day trek I went on in the mountains. Achmed was my guide. He was very patient, an excellent cook, extremely knowledgeable of the area, the conditions and was great company while we climbed. Overall I would 100% recommend a stay at Riad Ossagou and taking Achmed as a guide. If I return I certainly will. Thanks to you both.”

“Our stay at Riad Oussagou was amazing ! The riad in itself was wonderful - just a 15 min walk from Imlil centre and on the main road (unlike many of the other guesthouses and riads/dars in Imlil that are a bit off the beaten track). Our room had a fireplace (we explicitly asked to get this room - the name is room Agadir), it was so cozy and nicely decorated. We were even provided with robes and slippers. The room was right on the main terrace and in the mornings we had a delicious breakfast looking out onto the atlas mountains and surrounding villages. Our host Ahmed was incredibly kind and hospitable and cooked us the best meal we've had during our stay in Morocco. He also offered to cook us meals every evening during our stay and would go to the town centre just to buy fresh produce - unfortunately we were often out in the evenings and couldn't take advantage of this, which we regretted given how delicious our the one meal he cooked us was. The common area was also very warm and cozy with a big fire and drapings and tapestries all around. We also managed to book a guide, Samir, through the riad to do an eight hour trek on one of the days which was stunning and which we wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we will be back soon!”
