Good substantial French breakfast. Plenty of bread options, cake, croissants. Yoghurt, fruit salad, cheese and ham. Fresh coffee and a variety of teas. All very well organised. The evening meal that we had at the hotel was very elegant. Well presented. The hotel is 15 mins walk from the town and in a lovely wooded area, so great for walking the dog. Our dog was welcome in the breakfast and dining rooms, as he is well behaved and quietly sits under the table, so that was a bonus for us. King sized, very comfortable bed.
I would have liked a kettle or coffee maker in the room.
Great location near to Ars. The pool was great, the room comfortable and spotlessly clean, but decor a little tired. The shower attachment did not fix to the wall so you had to hold it whilst showering. Not great for the price.
The shower would have been better if it was fixed up high. The code system fit door entry was broken and we didn’t have breakfast because we thought it expensive.
Good location and great for the dogs, woods behind the hotel.
Grumpy staff, expensive room with no aircon
Staff very helpful. English is limited and so we conversed in half french/ half English but that’s my weakness not the hotel. Nice little pool area which was quiet, rooms are fine and bathroom was good. Ground floor rooms had a patio door and seating outside which I liked. Dinner was good quality. Nice quiet location and not too far to walk to town although most people use cycles (I have forgotten how to ride one). Harder to find than I would have hoped even though it’s on the main road - my sat nav wasn’t quite accurate enough so I had to call the hotel.
Nothing I didn’t like really. Dinner isn’t cheap and possibly not geared for children. It could cost a lot for a family. The hotel itself is a little expensive but not for the area. The walk to town was ok, but no pavements for some of it and walking on the grass verge was fine but harder going than a pavement - possibly not good for those who struggle to walk on uneven surfaces.
