Great location and great property! Friendly staff and excellent service!
AC useful for hot days
Great location, we had a nice stay. Seemed like the bathrooms were newly renovated although the room itself could use a bit of an update. Nice pool and the staff were very friendly.
Had a great stay, pool and hot tubs are phenomenal and rooms were great. Everyone friendly and accommodating.
Charging for wifi is outdated and should be changed in my opinion. It is a common service for hotels to have free wifi nowadays. oh well.
Good family stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The kids liked the pool and the breakfast buffet. The location is outstanding. We went ice skating on the river just behind the hotel and had a great brunch at Melissa's across the street.
Location was amazing for walking to downtown. Pool area was beautiful.
Only thing I could complain about was the carpet in the room. It was old and needed to be changed. Stuffed up my family.
All around a pleasant experience
Central location, friendly staff.
Bed spreads near a serious cleaning, stains and frays are everywhere.
Great location. I read some reviews and thought the room wouldn't be that great but I booked it for location. The room I had was very nice and comfortable. I would stay here again. pool was also very nice.
It would have been nice to have 2 chairs on the balcony.
Nice location, but expensive
Very nice and clean room. Location fantastic.
Resort town so all hotels are expensive. Didnt like being charged for parking or internet.
Leisure facilities were excellent. Comfy beds too.
No free wi-fi. They charge $10-a-day.
Great location close to some of the tourist attractions in Banff. Very convenient walking distance to shopping and dozens of restaurants. Very nice staff. Parking garage was very convenient. Looked like an ideal facility for small conferences. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Had wired internet in one wing -- speed 5Mb/1.5Mb. Nice shops downstairs off the lobby.
It was a bit pricey in the high summer season, but so were many other things in Banff. Extra daily cost for wifi and underground parking. Hotel was mostly quiet, but a little noisy when trains came through, not awful. Room layout and some furnishings were dated (mixed ages/styles), but the room was reasonably comfortable. Maintenance of some plumbing fixtures was deficient (I have no clue why housekeeping staff coordinates so poorly with the maintenance crew in many hotels such as this). My rating would have been higher if staff had bothered to take just 15 seconds of screwdriver time on the shower handles. Front desk person was unaware of wired internet, "We don't have that!" But they do in one wing. Be aware that Banff town is a significant distance from the Icefields Parkway.
It was quiet and comfortable, except for the occasional train whistle, which occurred intermittently through the night. Location was close to Banff Avenue.
The location was just perfect
Great location for exploring Banff and its walking trails (we parked the car in the hotel garage and did not use it again during our stay). Quick check-in/check-out, friendly staff.
Parking in underground garage is $9.50 per day - but most streets and parking lots in downtown Banff have 3 hour max. for parking.
Central position in Banff
We found the staff very friendly and helpfull. We only used the hotel on a B & B basis and the breakfast was excellent. We used the hotel for a ski holiday and it is perfectly positioned in Banff for the ski bus which stops outside. It is the last stop before the bus leaves Banff town for the slope and the first stop coming home at night which saves a lot of time between the hotel and the slopes.
staff were welcoming and very hospitable; rooms clean and pleasant; beds comfortable; food in the restaurant was excellent and great value; fantastic location.
For what we were looking for on this ski holiday, there was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel.
This the second time we have stayed there and were not disappointed. Very convenient location, straightforward and good service and good value all round. Please write at least 15 words
Pity the hotel does not accept dogs and does not have a ladies hairdressed on the block.
The eucalyptus steam room was great.
The beautifully designed pool was a wonderful experience and could accommodate children, families, couples and individuals. Very courtous and helpful staff.
