Pro " Food was excellent as was the service in all aspects. We had the villa with no view of the beach but it was very close. The desk staff went above and beyond when we were unable to get a taxi. "
Con " Nothing to note. "

Pro " Having a swimmingpool is nice, since going to a beach seems to be hard sometimes. We had a problem with our booking but the staff handled it very well and kind. They even offered us our last night for free. One of the waiters who serves breakfast is extremely friendly and kind, a true hospitality man. "
Con " A member of the reception staff (an older men) wasn’t the example of how hospitality works. He just wasn’t able to or willing to try to understand our point of view during the booking issue. The rest of his colleagues handled the issue extremely well, thanks again for that "

Pro " The Beach Tulum is a beautiful property and very luxurious. The room was spacious with two decks, we spent much of our time on the shaded deck overlooking the ocean. The space was also incredibly private which was perfect for us. Unfortunately the. Each was overrun with seaweed while we were there, but the staff were very accommodating and had people attempting to clean up as much as possible. The hotel pool was another great place to relax and more than made up for not being able to swim in the ocean, it literally felt like you were swimming through the jungle! The location was another positive since it was walkable to many great restaurants. We would definitely stay at the beach again! "
Con " Nothing! It was wonderful. The seaweed was unfortunate but the hotel can’t control nature, I wouldn’t let it stop you from visiting this great hotel and wonderful town. "

Pro " Really lovely hotel which has been finished to a high standard. Placed between the town and the beach so easy to get around. Have free bikes that you can use as part of the hotel which we used for visiting various cenotes. "
Con " Water stopped one evening for 12 or so hours, which was apparently all over Tulum however I wasn’t 100% whether this was the truth or a lie, as we asked restaurant staff by the beach and they said this wasn’t an issue there. But the hotel staff didn’t seem to be bothered and I would have expected someone to come knock on rooms when this first happened explaining the situation. Instead we went down to reception as were all the other guests and every time the receptionist was acting surprised as if this was the first she had heard of it. "

Pro " This is a very nice small hotel, located at the beginning of the hotel area in Tulum. It has a secluded beach and a very nice pool. While we stayed here, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and had a nice view. I highly recommend staying here. "
Con " The beach was full of sargassum, but this is sadly an issue not just of this hotel, but of pretty much every hotel in Tulum, Playa del Carmen and Cancun so not holding this against them. Still, they made an effort daily of keeping the beach as clean as possible and you always have the pool to refresh and hang out. "

Pro " I guess the pool was nice. "
Con " Honestly there was a lot not to like. The rooms echoed in the bathroom so everyone walking by can hear. Hardly any privacy. BEACH IS HORRIBLE. SEAWEED EVERY WHERE. I REPEAT SEAWEED EVERYWHERE. (JUNE 2019). If coming here for the beach I suhggest just save your money and go to aluna. Also Staff kept making my gf feel uncomfortable by continuing to staring at her like creepers. just gross tbh. Save GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. YOUVE BEEN WARNED. "
